The Iron Alpha

The Iron Alpha

I laughed, “is it wrong that I like the movie names better? So which one is your favorite?” “I don’t fucking know. I think she should have two names though, like you. And it has to sound a bit fucking regal, because she might be a fucking Alpha. So that’s why I chose all bad ass women. “ Leia said. “And it has to sound nice with the last name Omari.” Leia raised an eyebrow, “who says we’re giving her your last name?” “Uhm, I assumed, that’s usua-“ Leia started to laugh, “she can have your last name, Ash.”

This is the incredible second book in the series. I fell in love with the characters in Alpha Osiris, and it is amazing to see how they grow and develop. Truly well written, great story lines, lots of steamyness, and great humor. I can't wait to see what Naomi D has is store next, for her readers.

So great seeing how the next generation is experiencing life in Iron River Pack. This book follows the teens as they come of age. All the characters from Alpha Osiris are here. I’d like to see more of the other kids as well. Very interesting so far. I love getting updates from the OG crew.

The Ties The Bond Us

The Ties The Bond Us

“You want to name our baby after a wolf destined to eat the gods?” “It’s badass.” “Next.” He cleared his throat. “Kieran. Means ‘little dark one.’ Kieran Dunham.” “…I actually like that.” His jaw dropped. “Did you just agree with me?!” “Don’t get used to it. But yeah, it’s a good name.” He pumped his fist in the air. “I’m on fire tonight! Alright, how about Laziel? Sounds mysterious, right?” “Sounds like a knock-off wizard.” “Okay, okay, fair. What about Orin? Means ‘white wolf.’”

Detective Alsie & the Triplet Alphas-The Beginning

Detective Alsie & the Triplet Alphas-The Beginning

“No, my name is not Alsie-Alsie. It’s Jones. Alsie Jones. But since there are 4 other Jones in the station house, I didn’t want to be A. Jones. I applied for a name exception, and I was granted it, so there would be less confusion.” Jones is my human side last name. My actual last name is Neferet, it means beautiful woman in Egyptian. Neferet is the last name I go by in the Far-Side pack. “Oh, I get it A. Jones, like a jones. That’s funny. Ok, good enough for me. What can I help you with?” That was surprisingly easy, even though that wasn’t what I meant at all. Usually, this guy finds something and runs with it for a while. A jones, is he for real?

The Rogue Kings II

The Rogue Kings II

“What’s your full name?” I looking down, I threw the mushrooms and bacon into the pan. “Nathaniel Christian Rivers.” My eyes narrowed for a moment. “Do rogues have last names?” “Yes. Usually they take on White or sometimes Moon. It’s a bit like a bastard last name. A stupid tradition, but here we are.” “Can it…can it be Nathaniel Christian White, then? Rivers means nothing to me now…” My voice trailed off. Finn smiled widely. “Then we really will be family. Noah and I use White. Solaris had Ulrich because the Alpha King technically adopted her.”

Alpha’s Obsession

Alpha’s Obsession

Roger feels really bad for what he did and for the past few weeks, he has been trying to make it up to me until three days ago when I finally forgave him. "What are the names?" He asks "Uhm- Andrew, Atlas, Davis, Ryle, and Alexander but I thought the name Andrew is much better." "I like Ryle, it’s really cool but wait, did you say Alexander?" "Yeah, Alexander was the last name she picked." I say "It’s not that bad, I mean Alex has been trying for us and the fact that he knows about me coming here and didn’t tell anyone is great." "I know but the name Alexander for our child, I just don’t seem to like it."

Logan murmured as he handed one to me. “What do you think we should name them?” “Are we still going for Rhys and Rhett?” “I don't think so. Scratch that. How about Killian Denzel Kade?” “And Kai Marcus Kade.” He smiled.

The Rogues Who Went Rogue

The Rogues Who Went Rogue

If they were demanding an immediate meeting on such short notice after 204 years of avoidance, whatever they wanted to discuss had to be abominable. With closed eyes, Christian suddenly muttered, “It’s really weird to see the queen’s name like that. Which wolf or lycan has four words in their name anyway?” Xandar brought himself out of memory lane and explained matter-of-factly, “Well, ‘Paw’ was who I fell for, and Lucy was stubborn in putting in ‘Claw’. Hyphenating our last names seemed to be the best solution to make us both happy.”

This bookie was as good as the first. I took a break from reading while dealing with my father’s passing so I love that even though there are sad parts, this book and your other Lucianne Paw book I have read so far. I can’t wait to get through the next and look forward to the last 3 books as well.

I would really like to know if you have a social. That way would be easier to keep in touch on when exactly other books are coming up. I know the third book is already ready and I am OTW there now. Very excited to go on the next journey <3 SO happy to have found the 1st book. I am fully addicted.

HVWW ROYALS

“Then, I’m going to be the first one to change that rule!” “No can do.” “Then, put my surname along with yours.” Mateo raised an eyebrow, “Hm? Ingvar Vasileiou Katsaros. Isn’t it too long?” “Isn’t it easy? Just remove your surname.” Mateo shook his head, “Fine. Let him be the first one to have the longest name in our family book.” Carissa rolled her eyes and mumbled, “I still think that Iah or Thoth is better…” Mateo snorted, “It’s weird.”

Mga Madalas Itanong

Creating a last name that sticks in readers' minds is like mixing the right spices into a stew—it needs flavor, but shouldn’t overpower. I often start by considering the character’s background. If they’re a gritty detective in a noir setting, something sharp like 'Valken' or 'Draven' might work, evoking shadows and edges. For a whimsical fantasy protagonist, maybe 'Larkspur' or 'Fablebrook', which sound like they’ve sprung from a fairy tale.

Rhythm matters too—say it aloud! 'Blackwood' rolls off the tongue with weight, while 'Pryce' snaps quickly. I avoid overly complicated spellings unless it’s intentional (like a pretentious noble family). Sometimes, I mash up real surnames or tweak historical ones—'Hartwell' became 'Harthorne' for one of my characters, adding a subtle twist. The key is balancing uniqueness with believability; you want it to feel lived-in, not like a neon sign screaming 'LOOK AT ME!'
