The logical next step led her to the library, where she anticipated finding it. In the expansive and antiquated room, the volumes were so vast and ancient that layers of dust had accumulated upon them. Despite their wealth, the family never hired help to maintain their large estate. It was Agatha's clever thinking that turned this situation into an advantage. Its leather cover was cracked and faded, the title barely legible: *The Mysteries of Silverwood.* I pulled the book closer and opened it carefully. The pages were brittle, the text handwritten in an elegant script. As I flipped through the pages, a passage caught my eye:
