The Huntress

The Huntress

“No, I want recommendations on books, preferably the slow burns with two people trying to fight their connection when they were soulmates from the moment they met but they were blind.” She huffed annoyed, “I would recommend Birthday Girl by Penelo-“ “Penelope Douglas about Jordan and Pike Lawson, who is her ex-boyfriend’s dad, but yet they fell for each other and in the end have kids and her ex was happy with it. Yeah, I’ve read it but that’s not what I was referring to,” she scrunched her eyebrows together and looked perplexed and what I had just said, “I was talking about me and you and whether you like it or not.”

Summer Love Is Just For Summer

Summer Love Is Just For Summer

Summer Love. I didn't think the summer part mattered. Sure we did fall in love during the summer. That doesn't mean I didn't expect it to last past that. It didn't matter to me that he was Nathan Kalis's school-bad boy. To me, he was just Nathan. The man couldn't go more than ten minutes before demanding a kiss. Who always wanted me to cuddle into him. And who loved listening to me read my books out loud.

Romance, Going Solo

Romance, Going Solo

Back then, she had messaged me, crying about how cold the winter was and how she did not have warm clothes. My heart had softened…and I sent it to her. So, she stood there in the clothes that I had bought, beside my boyfriend, smiling brightly. "Sabrina! I haven't seen you in a while! I've missed you so much!" The moment she saw me, her eyes lit up. She rushed over and looped her arm through mine affectionately. She carried the same scent Jeremy had when he came home that night. A cheap, overly sweet peach fragrance. Then, she looked me up and down, feigning surprise.

Alpha's Picture of Regret

Alpha's Picture of Regret

She is smiling like she found something that just made her day. “What’s with the books?” Romy bounced onto the bed, “First, the romance book section in your library is awesome. We totally need to check it out together. Second, I got these pack law books. These are the first two of four.” I smiled. Of course, she had already gone to the library. Her weapon is her mind and sharp tongue. She uses them well, too. “Did you find something interesting?”

Beth Shuffield
This book is FABULOUS! I just finished it, fast read, funny and quick witted characters that will keep you thoroughly entertained. I highly recommend not only this book but any of Buchanan’s books! I’m on to my next Buchanan read, I just can’t resist master B’s plot twists mixed with strong and fu…

Once again another fabulous book. This was different from the others and I loved it. Different concept but still strong female lead and strong support females. This relationship does have to overcome, but my attitude towards the male lead changed the more I got into. Thank you @buchanan. Great book!

Craving My Best Friend’s Dad

Craving My Best Friend’s Dad

She muttered again, dropping her gaze to his lips. Julian stayed there, his eyes burning into her. Scared at first, but when his lips curled in approval, as if he knew what she wanted right now, she leaned into him, grazing her lips over his. Today had been a rollercoaster of emotions for her. From euphoria when she got the letter, to weariness after receiving her grandparents' call, and apprehension when she encountered those men from the hood, but right now, as she looked into Julian's eyes, she didn't feel any of those emotions.

CRAVING THE WRONG BLACKTHORNE BROTHER

CRAVING THE WRONG BLACKTHORNE BROTHER

“As many as you want.” “That’s not—” “I’m serious. Go.” I moved through the narrow aisles and let my fingers trail over the spines. Some were cracked leather, others smooth paperback, the new ones still crisp and unbroken. I found myself in the romance section because of course I did. The covers were ridiculous with their shirtless men and promises of happy endings I’d stopped believing in. “These any good?” I jumped. Nate stood close enough that I caught the scent of cedar. “I don’t know. Haven’t read them yet.”

Another side of Her

Another side of Her

I needed to cut her off. "Look, they're doing the walking around the fire thing." She said. I hummed non committal. "I read about it in this book by Drethi Anis. Five thousand nights of obsession. The book was so good." "You read?" I asked. I had never seen any book in her apartment or caught her with a book. "Yes." She blushed, then quietly. "Romance books." "You don't strike me as the romance type." I looked at her intently. "Is it one of those raunchy books with shirtless men carrying scabbards on the cover."

A Second Chance at Romance

A Second Chance at Romance

Hannah and Darren settled down at a spot that the Winchesters had purchased privately, with few people around, and only lanterns illuminating the beach. Listening to the sound of the waves together in the darkness was a different kind of romance. Darren stood in front of the barbecue grill, grilling meat, and handed a skewer to Hannah. "Delicious," Hannah commented, biting into a piece of grilled meat, the juicy flavors exploding in her mouth, and the taste of the barbecue seasoning lingering on her taste buds. With a smile, she brought the skewer to Darren's lips, cheerfully saying, "Try it." Darren didn't refuse, naturally taking a bite of the skewer she handed him. After savoring it for a

The stepbrother I ran from is my new professor.

The stepbrother I ran from is my new professor.

Edward handled most of them while I restocked shelves and learned the layout. Around two, a woman came in looking for a specific dark romance. "Do you have anything like Butcher & Blackbird?" she asked. "I just finished it and I need something similar." Edward looked at me. "Maliya?" I stepped forward. "Have you read Haunting Adeline? Or the Broken Bride series? They've got similar dark romance vibes with morally gray love interests." Her face lit up. "I haven't read either of those. Where are they?" I led her to the romance section, pulled both books, gave her quick summaries.
