Taming the Fire Dragon
I ask, taking her hand.
“No, but I know it’s time and you’ve given me more time that you intended, I know.”
I close my eyes, feeling my dragon smiling as she watches me take the leap of faith, or in this case, the step to stand on the magma I’ve pulled up to us.
I look at her as I turn. “It’s not hot at all.”
“Nope. And it never will be for you again,” she says stepping beside me.
I use my earth element to lift us up to the top of the volcano, holding it steady until Kenna steps onto the lip of the volcano. Then I join her, letting the lava flow down the side of the mountain.
