A ghoulish creature of my own making. I'd wake up, breathing hard, tears streaming down my face. Whenever I'd blink, I'd see her. See this spidery monster in the dark corners of my room. I felt saturated all over, thinking it was her blood. A thick red ink encircling me in a sickly warmth. Flicked my light on only to see it wasn't blood at all. I'd be dripping with my own sweat. The creature in the corner was only a pile of unfolded laundry. I couldn't even wear her earrings, so they sat on my dresser. Untouched.

“I even used those little water jet thingies in the shower to make sure I got into every crack and crevice.” “Ewww, bro,” Logan moaned as his phone’s display lit up to show it was making a call. “What?” The goblin snickered. “It’s not like I rubbed my dick on them. Rafe Jr. is far too large.” “Are you speaking from experience?” Beth couldn’t help but giggle. Rafe shrugged. “Sometimes, when you’re baked out of your mind, a hole is a hole.” “Maybe we should stop talking about dicks and holes before the holy LightDuke l arrives?” Logan chuckled as he tried to change the subject. “I have a feeling he’s not going to appreciate that type of humor.”

I didn't go in this time, but I decided to call the creature out. "Gary? Is that you boy?" I called, my instinct told me he was there and he was the creature causing all these disappearances. I stood there for a few minutes, shotgun in hand ready to aim at him in case he attacked. I could hear some growls, and I was prepared. The Wendigo came out of the cave and walked slowly towards me. His eyes were Scarlet red and his mouth was drooling and I could see blood all over his body. "Gary? If that is you in there, please listen to me. If you are the one kidnapping all these kids and eating them, tell me" I said, knowing he can't even speak and he won't tell me.

"But her eyes are not a normal color a human possesses. Perhaps she is a pixie?" The one I was guessing was named Stefan murmurs in thought. Gojon nods. "Aye and her hair is odd colored." My lips curl into a sneer. "Have you two imbecils done talking about me?" I hissed.

Herne focused his attention back on the screen, "Who is leading them?" "Your old friend Matthias Ponts, or at least I thought so at first. Brace yourselves," She pulled up an image of what appeared to be a Female Frankenstein monster. Unlike the Hollywood version of the aberration, the female golem was shapely. Long angry scars along the neck and shoulders. Tiny bolts jutted out from the throat area but did not look out of place. The pale skin and mixed and matched eyes haunted warren. Archon flashed a picture of the wolf gigas he fought. "Archon thinks it's another gigas. I agree with him."

Concrete. Steel. Dust. A creature leapt through the breach — tall, skeletal, with claws dripping black venom. A hound. Not canine. Not human. Somewhere in between. It lunged straight at me.

The creature spat large globs of electrified gel and blocked off the teenagers’ attempt to escape. Sweat rolled down Bonnie’s forehead as the creature stepped closer and closer to their cornered position. A strange seal on the creature’s left arm caught Taylor’s eye. It was a woman with the body of a snake and the wings of a demon whose long hair was encircled. “Echidna,” Taylor uttered at the devastating monster. “Echidna?” The gelatinous monster arched its back. “What’s going on?” Bonnie asked Taylor. The creature expelled its venom directly at the two teenagers. Taylor ran in front of Bonnie and held out his two hands.

Werewolves hunted alongside vampires in the night. The Fae, the most mysterious of all creatures resided in the dense forests within their fairy rings or in the still waters of the lakes and ponds in the forms of water nymphs. Gnomes and leprechauns set up home in the hills and wetlands. Other creatures which once roamed the world a plenty were becoming extinct. Creatures such as dragons and unicorns each were hunted to extinction for the magical healing qualities.
