The Ember Ghost opened his mouth and showed his sharp teeth before lowering her mouth to the exposed woman’s neck. The crowd watched in silence as the Ember Ghost appeared to suck the woman’s blood. The woman’s arms flailed weakly but her face looked serene, if not enjoying the experience. Then, the woman’s expression slowly changed into pain and she grimaced. She placed her arms around the Ember Ghost’s head weakly before dropping them weakly to her side. Then, the woman’s limp body slid out of view leaving the Ember Ghost standing. He wiped the remaining red stains from his mouth with a swipe of his arm before disappearing within the smoke that blew from across the float.

Then the four stinky vampires proceeded to sniff my body like perverts, I swallowed the bile in my throat and my vision rapidly blurred with tears as I resisted the urge to throw up every content of my stomach. Goosebumps filled my body, fangs started growing out and my eyes glowed red. “Aria?” The door swung wide open as Ethan ran in with concern all over his face. He walked closer, stretching his hand to touch my shoulder. I turned grabbing his shirt as I sank my fangs into his neck letting my hunger take the best of me. Ethan dropped unconscious before me, my cloth soaked in blood only to look up and I saw Jenna, she was filming.

She reluctantly sat there, looking at the Goddess in front of her. "Give me your hand," Hecate offered, showing the girl her upturned palm. She placed hers in it, a little surprised at the coldness meeting her skin. "You are grieving. Your heart has been broken by the vampire," the Goddess' voice sounded ominous and powerful, suddenly coming from all around her. Diana's breath hitched in her throat. The Goddess wrapped her hand around hers, her sharp and black nails quickly sinking into Diana's skin like tiny blades, drawing blood. Diana let out a pained mewl, eyes widening with alarm.

At that exact moment, a loud trumpet blared through the hall, followed by the announcer’s booming voice: “Ladies and gentlemen, the wolf hunt is about to begin. All participants, please make your way to the maze.” With one final glare, Zane grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from the area. Once we were a safe distance away, he looked down at me. “What’s wrong?” I shook my head quickly, my breath uneven. “Those people… something’s wrong with them.” I whispered. “Being around them gives me goosebumps.” Zane shrugged it off. “Relax. They’re just vampires looking for humans to toy with and scare. They probably thought you were alone.”

“Wha' wrog?” “They found another body,” She said, “Under the bridge. Same place as the last one. They said the body had all its blood drained out.” “Just like the last ones.” I shivered. She turned to me, eyebrows raised. “Apparently there are no obvious wounds. Do you still think they’re animal attacks?” “Of course.” I rolled my eyes. “What else would they be? Vampires?” “You think I’m crazy, but that’s the only explanation that makes sense.”

She swallowed hard and I could see the fear in her eyes. “You…” she breathed, staring at me like she had seen a ghost. She rose her trembling hand and pointed directly at me. “You’re … you’re a vam…vamp…vampire!!”

They saw eight goblins playing cards outside of the cabin.
