Sinister whispers reverberated through the dark corridors, and the cold touch of fear lingered in the air, warning all who dared to intrude upon this unholy sanctuary. As the group entered the chamber, the coffins all opened, allowing their occupants to emerge. The vampires bared their fangs, their eyes aglow, poised to charge at the intruders. One vampire lunged forward in attack, but a sudden rush of wings brushed past, knocking the vampire back into his coffin, which promptly sealed shut, trapping him inside.

Narrator- George stared at Carolynn with pupils darkened by disbelief and skepticism. "Well, aren't you going to invite me in?" She said, and her voice still had the same effect it did on him over two decades ago. George had to fight the urge to close his eyelids at the sensation of goosebumps developing along the line of his naturally cold spine. His pale fingers squeezed the door handle, forcing the metal to crunch beneath the vampire's intense strength. George avoided to breathe, just so his lungs wouldn't be violated by her scent, which he remembered to be as sweet as apples ripening in the fall.

Ruby's runny nose wrinkled, so cold was the dead forest. "Seriously, you guys are ghetto vampires!" "Watch what you say!" scolded Joe. "You must be the leader! No wonder it's more ghetto!" Ruby teased. Joe exclaimed, "Attack her, but save some for me!" The vampires galloped off to attack Ruby. Their mouths were gaping open all over. The sharp fangs of two male and female vampires levitated to reach her first. Ruby was not to be outdone. She lightened her body, stepping on the heads of the vampires in the front row. The fireballs in her two hands shot right into the face of the hovering vampire and proceeded to stomp on the rest.

My skin erupts with goosebumps and chills run down my spine. “Do you need some help there, lady?” His voice is gravelly in all the worst ways possible. I cringe; his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. “N-No, I think I’m okay. Thank you, though!” My voice trembles. He doesn’t stop inching closer to me. I step backward. “I think she’s scared of us!” The man calls out. Laughter erupts from behind him and more werewolves appear. Some carry weapons, whereas others simply have their claws, showing off their teeth when they enter the light.

AVA'S POV “For a queen you are, you're getting a bit too comfortable with these humans,” Rowan whispered, his breath tickling my skin and his voice husky and laced with a hint of warning. My gaze narrowed, eyes flashing red with a hint of danger as I took in his words. “And what makes you think so, my love?” I purred, my voice dripping with sweetness as my fingers trailed his bare chest down below to his hard member. Of course we were lying naked in all our glory, skin flawless yet had a pale color to it, and this was absolutely normal being vampires.

He prompted. "I learned something tonight." She began, hesitating as she thought over what she had learned. "I have reason to believe that the vampires are planning an uprising. Last night, there wasn't a single one roaming the streets which isn't normal for the city." She explained. "Don't be ridiculous, Harley! Where on earth would you get an idea like that?" Zander scoffed. "I'm not being ridiculous, this information came from a trustworthy source." She defended. "Oh really? And what was that source?" He questioned.

Plus one vampire observer. The Battle of the Rookeries is about to begin.

"Creepy, but okay. But seriously, those guys are creepy. Why do they keep staring at us as if-" "They're vampires." My eyes widen as I looked at him in shock but a grin growing on his lips upon noticing my petrified state. "What do you mean-" "I really wanna kiss you right now." "Alex, I am serious, we're getting out." I started tugging his hand and stood up when Alex didn't budge. I walked towards the door and froze when the guys started getting up, their eyes growing a shade darker as they huddled around me. One of them stepped forward and I flinched when I noticed his hands reaching out to my cheeks. I took a step back and bumped against something hard . I glanced up to look at Alex, who

They were dressed in t-shirts and breeches, including the female. We halted our horses and for a minute, I contemplated this whole thing. The Vampires snarled at us, showing us their canines. Goosebumps popped on my skin in fear, they looked very intimidating but I still got down from my horse with shaky legs and walked towards them. Their eyes danced, their head raising slightly towards the sky. They were picking up my scent. "Fresh blood." The speaker's voice was groggy. He sounded playful and excited. The other hummed in anticipation and walked a step towards me.

Her stomach rumbled one more time before she dived into it, almost swallowing without chewing. “190, 191, 192, 19...,” Rose counted, her hands felt like noodles as she paused mid-push-up. “Rose, I assure you that a 15 year old Vampire can do 500 push-ups without breaking a sweat,” “Vampires… Vampires don't sweat,” she gasped. “That's a metaphor, now continue, if you don't get to 200 now, I'd just make you start from one again,” Rose groaned but pushed through it “I93, 194, 195,”
