Romans & histoires Grandpa From Hey Arnold

“Liana, I just remembered that black Rolls-Royce is actually mine. It’s been sitting in the garage so long, I forgot all about it… The color is just too ugly. No wonder I couldn’t remember it.” I chuckled helplessly and was about to speak, but Preston beat me to it. Frowning, he gave Grandpa a once-over and asked irritably, “Who in the world are you, old man?” Ernest stared at Preston in shock, as if he could not believe what he had just heard. Meanwhile, George had gone deathly pale. He was mumbling nonstop, “It’s over… We’re doomed…” Grandpa kept his face impassive. “You claimed you were the chairman’s grandson, and yet you don’t even recognize your own grandfather?”

"He got my darling Eli to shine his shoes for him, did he? I'll skin him alive!" Grandpa Toby slowly took off his gold-rimmed glasses and wiped the rain from the lenses. His voice came out ice-cold as he muttered, "The Hargroves? It's Felix Hargrove, isn't it? Some nerve they've got to lay hands on my baby Eli. Seems like those bastards don't know what's good for them."

A high-pitched scream cut through the air. Grandma, who was supposed to be crippled, jumped up from her wheelchair. She leaped several feet away with nimble movements, wiping the icy water with her hands while a string of curses exploded from her lips. "You damned bastard, Jasper Saldano! Are you trying to freeze me to death?" she exclaimed while coughing. "It's so cold!" Ashton stood rooted to the spot while still holding the golf club. The corner of my lips curled up into a sarcastic smile as I clapped. "Well, would you look at that? It seems that your leg is all better now, Grandma."

It's Grandpa's birthday banquet, and yet my fiancee is working late again, missing her one chance to meet the family. My brother and his wife, still bitter about me taking the project from them, don't waste the opening. "What good is all his money when his fiancee can't even show up on a day this important? She clearly doesn't take him seriously." "That's why Archer's the smart one. He landed himself Claire Donovan, of all people. Even her throwaway gifts start at seven figures." I'm about to fire back when the familiar name stops me cold. My eyes lock onto the bracelet of dark wooden beads the butler carries in. It's identical to the one my fiancee just spent a fortune on a few days ago.

Don't be left behind. I smiled. Haaaaay, Mr. Anderson you're so cute when you're sick~ @TarynGrace

she explained gently. Matt tilted his head slightly, his curiosity unabated. “Hello, Uncle Arthur,” he said obediently, his tone polite but cautious. Arthur smiled warmly, leaning closer to place a hand on Matt’s small shoulder. “Hi, Matt! How are you doing? Your grandpa and Uncle Moses have told me so much about you.” Matt’s eyes brightened at the mention of his grandfather. “You know Grandpa?” he asked, his voice filled with surprise and delight. Arthur nodded with an amused smile. “Of course I do,” he replied.

Wayne waved his hand impatiently. “It was just soup. It didn’t even scald you. “Besides, Aiden has a point. Look at you. You don’t even know the basics of the language. You can’t even have a proper conversation with him. “Other grandfathers all over the world are bilingual or even trilingual. They can play football and do crafts with their grandchildren. “But look at you. Besides cooking, you just sit there smoking. That’s it. You’re useless.” Aiden became more emboldened. He pointed at me and said, “Exactly! If you weren’t so stubborn about staying alive, Grandma Sloane and Grandpa Wallace could’ve come back years ago and lived in a big house!”

“Ho ho, You’re quite tall for your age already though.” “I want to be as tall as daddy! And that can only happen if mommy feeds me everyday!”, he said self righteously, and then immediately deflated. “Sorry grandpaw, I can’t come with you.” His eyes were big and watery and Aria could have sworn on everything she owned that Arthur SOFTENED. Her unwavering grandfather softened. And not just in his eyes alone, his full body relaxed, even if it was only slightly, it was like an impossible miracle for Aria to conceive.

“My grandfather collapsed an hour ago. He’s at the house now. The doctor’s with him.” Jessica’s stomach dropped. “Is he okay?” “I don’t know.” Christian was already grabbing his keys. “Come on. We need to go.” The house was full of tension when they arrived. A doctor stood near the stairs, speaking quietly to Lira. Arnold was in his bed, pale but awake, his breathing slow and heavy. “Grandfather,” Christian said, rushing to his side. Arnold’s eyes fluttered open. “Christian. And Jessica.” His voice was weaker than before, but his eyes still held that same sharp light. “Don’t look so scared. I’m not gone yet.”

Freya remarked before everyone at their table laughed. After dinner, Anthony approached their table, pushing Abner in a wheelchair. He, Abner, Renee, Raelyn, and Charles were at another table. Anthony said, “Your grandpa wants to rest now, Adrian. I’m going to take him to his room.” “My back hurts. Mr. Grim Reaper is acting up again,” Abner jokingly said. Lately, it had been usual for Abner to add jokes to his mortality. “Grandpa, please don’t say that,” Adrian said while getting up.
