Lila The café is tucked into the corner of a brownstone lined street, half hidden under a faded green awning that reads Sparrow & Finch in tiny gold letters. It smells like cinnamon and roasted espresso the second I step inside warm and grounding. Like the kind of place you come to feel human again. Nick’s already there. He’s seated at a corner table, a mug between his hands, scrolling something on his phone. He looks up just as I walk in, and that same crooked smile breaks across his face unpracticed, unpolished, real.

Chapter 114 Nyx’s POV The café we met was a quiet, tucked-away place, the kind people used for shady dealings and whispered confessions. Dim lighting cast shadows over the small table between me and Valeria, who sat across from me, twirling her straw like a bored child. She hadn’t even touched her drink.

I replied. Fortunately, the Sufficient Mall is open at this time. At the back of this mall, the Written Cafe is located. I have already ordered what is on the menu yet they still don’t come so I decided to go out for a walk. Then, after a walk and feeling the fresh air, I decided to go back, I saw Sketch and Doodle sitting inside the cafe we had agreed upon. Obviously, Sketch is bored on his seat. I went straight near them. “Will we have to wait a long time for that Abstract? I have much more to do.” I heard Sketch said.

nodding Jacob follows me as we walk towards the cafe. The little bell rang, as we both entered the little cafe, with a homey vibe. This cafe has been one of my favorite spots since I opened my shop, wheveri wanted a little time for myself, I will escape here. The cafe is not very big, but once you are inside, something you will feel, tug you into a comfortable embrace. It feels cozy here. Taking a seat, near the window, I order a hot chocolate for myself and Jacob helped himself with espresso.

I entered the cafe, saw Anna in a booth at the far corner of the shop. The shop is very welcoming and homely. The walls of the shop are warm light pink with pictures of tea cups and plates, pastries and cakes. Chairs are white in colour with beautiful designs engraved on them. The tables are covered with white cover, sugar packets, small beautiful vases and spoon sets are kept on each table. There is a cash counter on the left side with a fortune cookie jar and menus. Behind the cash counter Lizzy was standing ,attending to some clients. Lizzy is Mrs McGuire's granddaughter.
