The houses around me are getting bigger and more luxurious the more we ride up the mountain. Right before we reach the summit, Hermes steers Agape into a road that turns left. “You are meeting Hecate, Selene and Nix at Nix’ place, but I can’t follow you on the last road to Nix’ house. She banned me from the entire street after our last party. You take the next road to your right and keep riding until you see a silver and black gate, it’ll swing open when you approach. Agafya will wait for you until you are finished here and she will find me when you want to go home.” Hermes says, riding off into the sunset and throwing a kiss over his shoulder, leaving me guessing in who Nix and Hecate are.

Like Nyx and Erebus. Nyx was a powerful goddess, the Goddess of Darkness. She was said to be a primordial being, mother of Sleep, the Fates, and even Death. And Erebus was the God of Night and the personification of darkness. Those two were said to have given rise to the first rulers of the gods. But because of their terrifying nature and primarily negative forces, neither of them was ever worshiped… Was that what this place was? A place for shadows and darkness to find refuge?

I said, trying to keep my voice steady. The goddess smiled, her eyes shining with amusement. "I know why you have come," she said. "But first, you must prove yourself worthy." I nodded, feeling a sense of determination. I was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. The goddess waved her hand, and a figure stepped forward from the shadows. It was a woman, tall and statuesque, with skin like the night sky and hair like the stars. "This is Nyx, the goddess of night," the moon goddess said. "She will be your first challenge."

She answers me and smiles gently at me. “Thank you moon-goddess, you once again show that you care about us. You said you have a message for Logan?” I remind her. “Oh yes, I do. As you know I am the goddess of the moon and you wolves and lycans are my children.” She says, and I nod my head to show her that I am listening. “Do you know anything about Nyx and her lover Erebus?” The moon goddess asked me. And I do know who they are.

Damn! I have no intention of getting involved with her. This is my honeymoon with my wife, and I don't want these terrible things to ruin her mood. Just as we were leaving, "Nyx!" A strong male voice came from behind the shop. This woman is Nyx, the Greek goddess of the night. The name matches her mystique. Nyx glared at us and then walked to the back of where she had been sitting, where there was a closet. In the dim light, I looked carefully. There was a dark wool tapestry beside the closet. She lifted it and turned to us and said viciously:

“If I give you my hand, you can see if I am telling you the truth.” I eyed her warily as she reached her hand out to me across the table before taking it with my own. I closed my eyes as the visions began to cloud my vision. Her entire existence played out before me and I knew she had told me the truth. She was the goddess of the night, Nyx. I pulled my hand away, taking a deep breath as I opened my eyes, wondering what on earth a goddess would want with me. “But you already know, dear.” She smiled again. “If you saw everything, you already know that I have mated you with my first creation. He has lost many mates to time, but I think you may be the one to undo my brother’s magic and make him
