Greek Gods Comics Novels & Stories

That was Frank the monster’s thing. “We don’t even need to watch videos, Ian already showed me how to do it. You just press down on this trigger thingy, point at the area you want to paint and voila! It’s done.” She patiently explained how the whole contraption worked, up until the point of how to get paint into the eqiupment, but I didn’t hear a single word. I nodded in all the right places, at least I thought it was in the right places, but my mind was brimming over with questions. What was Kyros? It had introduced itself as a god. The fire god to be specific. Admittedly, my greek mythology was terrible, seeing as all I knew about it was from the few comics I read and the Thor movie I watc

“That’s not possible. It would kill you. All three of you.” “Eh… The Moon Goddess and The Goddess of Witchcraft are besties. They figured out a way to do it the last time Kas and I were here.” I shrug and count off on my fingers. “Not to mention, Kas has an in with Psyche, Eros, Hades, Persephone, Melinoë, Pan, and Circe, who have their own side thing going on, apparently. Not to mention Hephaestus, Hedone, and the rest of the Erotes. Aphrodite, on the other hand, she can fuck off.”

Xavier simply said and sipped his wine quietly. His face gave nothing away , making it really hard to guess what he was thinking... Godvric did as he was told and kept his eyes on the mobile phone.. "The first item up for bidding is an ancient Greek totem.." the voice of the host could be heard everywhere and they began bidding with their pads.. The first item was taken by the prime minister of Greece... "The next item is the famous portrait of the Sanzu river painted by the Shin Ha-ri.. we're gonna start with 1million for this. " The host announced and glanced at the private booth...

“My daughter, my demi-god.” I’m a demi-god? … pft Ahahaha kidding. I have always been interested in Greek Mythology but I don’t know much about them except of course the famous 12 olympians and my favorite was Athena of course, who wouldn’t? I have watched Percy Jackson, Troy, and Hercules. They really are awesome. Ack. It’s quite heavy, jeez. I picked it up and went to a table near the shelf. I started to read from the start and find it quite interesting. There are stories about the major gods and goddesses, and some stories about mortals. Most of them were love stories though.

She smiled at me with a relieved expression on her face. Combining all their heavenly presence, I felt intimidated at the same time, in awe. Who would have imagined that I would get to meet the legendary gods? For some reason, my heart skips a beat while looking at each one of them like I have known them my whole life. It’s weird to say I feel at ease with their majestic presence. What baffled me was I recognized them all. There was Apollo, Hera, Athena, Ares, Aphrodite, Demeter, Dionysus, Hermes, Poseidon, and the high and mighty—Zeus—who was seated in the center.

all eight of them; Poseidon god of the sea, sat with his golden trident and crown, very intimidating with all his godly build and huge blue tail. Athena goddess of wisdom and battle strategy sat next to Poseidon , ever so proud of her hair and white robes with a warrior's head gear to adorn it, spear in hand. Ares god of war, Athena's male counterpart sat next to her, adorned in silver armor and a blade that was a little too sharp. Hephaestus god of metalworks and fire, a personality that rarely was at the hall, was sat beside Ares. His black leather bodysuit made him look like the sexiest blacksmith ever and his fire hued hair was bedazzling.

“The ones your mother used to tell you and your brothers when you were younger?” “Which ones?” Alex pushed further, leaning against the bookshelf, unsure of where this conversation was headed. He had never seen this side of his father. “The ones of the old Gods and Goddesses,” Kevin chimed in, his eyes distant as he stared out of the window, looking at the sunset. “The Old Gods?” Alex repeated a confused look clouding his eyes. “Yes, like Odin, Loki, Eir, Freya...” Kevin answered, “do you remember the ones I’m talking about? Do you know the stories?”

I spun on my heels to get a look at the source of the voice "You were thinking out loud." "I spent over a thousand hours on that painting." The voice continued "E.A.D?" The words left my lips as I stared at the letters at the bottom of the painting "It's an acronym for Eugene Ari Darian." "Greek?" I scoffed, genuinely amused "A greek god actually," he corrected, arrogance clear in his tone with his head held up high "You are arrogant, you know that right?" I asked, not the least bit impressed "Okay, I'm sorry if I've been rude." His attempt at an apology was weak-hearted, he didn't mean it and I could sense it

" The one who cursed Medusa." "Well, if you put it that way." She grimaced. A guy moved forward, he wore a tank top, and Jeans. He held a golden winged staff with two snakes entwined around it. He had brown hair, and obsidian eyes. Which kinda reminded me of the girl I'd met, with rainbow colored hair. Was she also a god?! "I'm Hermes" he said, smiling, with his hand stretched out for an handshake. I took his hand. He was surprisingly good looking, for a god of thieves.

Red ink scrawled across printouts of Greek translations. Cerberus: Guardian of the Underworld. Chimera: Fire-breathing horror. Eternal opposites. Gatekeeper and Destroyer. Her eyes burned from staring too long at the same paragraphs. But every time she blinked, she saw the mall. She saw Cerebus sedated, collapsing, dragged away like trash. She saw the newspapers calling him a monster. She clenched her jaw, whispering into the stale air: “You don’t even know him. None of you.”
