Grimm gets up and opens another trunk, pulling out a bottle of liquor and two empty glasses. “Damn, you’re prepared.” “That I am,” he says with a soft smile. As he pours into the glasses, I open the box of chocolates and pop one in my mouth. Immediate regret. “Bitter chocolate! Eww!” Grimm laughs. “Here. Wash it down with this.” He sniffs the air. “What’s that smell?” He grabs the box of chocolates and begins to sniff them while I shrug, readying myself for the burning sensation the drink will cause in my throat. But the burning begins without even taking a sip. It slides from my throat to my stomach.

He whisper-growled into my ear and took his time in observing my face. "Little do you know, a black eye suits you." He teased and seconds later he jabbed the burning stick on my neck. I let out a loud cry as he pressed the cigarette harder so the stick could burn me through. The pain was infuriating. The hot stick was burning me so deeply I began to perceive the smell of roasted flesh and felt blood trickle down my neck. Please God, make him stop. Still strangling me, I started choking, and that was when he threw me down to the ground and threw his cigarette stick some distance away.

I cannot withdraw my eyes away from his hands. They pulled out a bundle of wood sticks, uh kind of it seemed like chopsticks that he took out with a match box.
