A voice came down, saying, "Puny human. I'm going to destroy you for challenging me, your creator." "Hmph! So you've finally decided to show yourself, huh?" Adrian said with a smile. "Grim, kill him!" the giant face yelled. The monster called Grim suddenly went on a rampage, launching another volley of attack at Adrian. The monster had no idea that was exactly what he wanted.

I'm getting panicked. "Isaac, you bastard! Come to your senses quickly, and Casey, get out of here." The injured Isaac I saw started to crawl. He led Casey and a friend away from the elevator. Eren and I fought against two wolves and one Grunger monster. I kept them busy so they wouldn't hinder Isaac and Casey from running. The Grunger dragged Casey's leg while holding his bleeding arm. The blood was dark black and very smelly. He really is a disgusting monster. I don't know how this Grunger monster was created. I thought he was a mutant? Or is it the result of magical engineering?

I said, only a little sarcastic. “The only monsters in my house are you and me, and I can’t fit under your bed,” he said in a bland tone. “Har-har.” I mocked him. I didn’t want to think of myself as a monster, even if I was. “The most common in this particular city are Demons, Gargoyles, Vampires, and Witches. Werewolves do roam around here every now and then, but they like more open space for when they shift,” he continued like there had been no banter between us.

The colossal monsters that shook the earth with every step; creatures so enormous that ordinary warriors could not even reach their vital points, each movement from those monsters created earthquakes, each roar shattered courage. Many wolves had already accepted death and then... Silver light descended and the gigantic Umbreal standing at the center of the battlefield suddenly explode

I came here to hide from Marcus and start over. Instead I walked into a house with three wolves who already decided I belonged to them.

Magnus shifts into his wolf and lunges at him as Alec grabs my arm and lifts me from the ground. He pulls me behind him and holds his hands out. I watch as black mist emits from his hands as he summons Grimghouls and Shadow reapers that crawl from the ground. The little orcs fight back against the minotaurs that have gained on us. Then to my horror, I hear Saskia scream. A giant worm opens its mouth. Its teeth are like that of sharks. It eats Saskia and burrows into the ground once again. ‘No!’ I scream.

There were the usual ads for x-ray glasses and onion gum and joy buzzers and Charles Atlas, but one at the bottom caught my eye. SEA MONSTER PETS! HATCH THESE CREATURES IF YOU DARE! I’d seen ads for Sea Monkeys before, and Matt had told me they were a species of shrimp. But sea monsters? I read the fine print but the ad gave no details other than a legal-sounding paragraph about the company not being responsible for escaped creatures or any harm they inflicted. I looked at the cost, then jumped off the bed and grabbed my piggy bank from the bureau. I emptied the contents onto the bed and counted. I had enough money.

“Hehehe… hahaha… hahahahahaha!!!” Gleaning Monster Cores appeared around him, as well as the destroyed bodies of what appeared to be crimson-looking monkeys—a striking variant of the Monkey Monsters and BigFoot Monsters The creatures had dark, crimson bodies covered in dirt. Now, their bodies were a chaotic mess, with their insides strewn about and cooked by the blistering heat of the area. “Looks like I made it in time!” The boy chuckled, a smirk playing on his lips as he spotted a crawling figure ahead. It was the Boss Monster—a colossal Crimson Bigfoot—struggling to crawl away on just one remaining limb after losing three to the young man.

He was stunned, his eyes widening as it moved lower to see a pair of dainty hands. But when he turned, the woman's face did not match her hands at all. She looked hideous, her hair like a bird's nest and her face filled with red spots that would make anyone scared.
