So I left it, settling on exploring my new home instead. Today I found myself in a cosy study, still a considerably large room, but smaller than most that I had come across. It reminded me of Lilith’s living room, dark red wood seemed to domineer the room in here. A large inglenook fireplace flanked by a large suit of armour on each side. Over the mantel was a battered shield that had seen better days and two swords, mostly likely longer that I was, crossed at the back of it. A coat of arms could be made out under the battered metal, to me in looked like a half goat half man creature, holding a large raven in one hand and a snake in the other. I assumed it must belong to the Caine family.

It was incredibly difficult to discern that went on in that century old heart of hers. I stretched out and received it from her. "That's not all," she spun around, and grabbed a book off the table. She held it out to me again, and I didn't hesitate to take it from her hand. "As promised, I have given you the Crimson heart. And that..." She pointed at the weighty book in my hand. "That's a grimoire, containing research on the blood moon oath. If you go through it diligently, you might find a way to break it without any other kind of substitutions."

The creature we intended to create, the weapon strong enough to rule both packs and covens, would remain a dream. I couldn’t let that happen. I turned toward the far wall and knelt beside the hearth. It was uniquely crafted, shaped like three sets of a curvy triangle with three pointed stars made from metal rings all joined together at a center. “That's a shakra. A magical object weapon used by Grishan witches,” Triss slit her palm and pressed the blood against the wall with a few markings, and instantly, a small part of the wall shifted and she took out a book. It was familiar. The one I'd seen when I first came to the spell room. The Book of Shadows and Magic. I read out the name internally. Strangely, I couldn't take my eyes off the book until Triss returned it back to the wall and sealed it magically just as she'd retrieved it.

The book had a name that was in a different language Ezra couldn't understand. She grabs the book and rush to Nolan side she laid the book on top of his body and pray.

Anna felt the book in her hands grow heavier, its leather cover vibrating faintly. “Stay close!” she shouted, but her voice was swallowed by the oppressive silence. A faint glow emerged from the shelves, revealing twisted figures with hollow eyes and jagged grins. They moved unnaturally, their bodies bending and snapping as they approached. “Run!” Logan yelled, grabbing Sophia’s hand.The group scattered, their footsteps pounding against the floor. Anna held onto the journal tightly, her mind racing. The book and mirror weren’t just cursed—they were anchors for the shadows.

Lankko closed his eyes and heard the cluck of the chicken against the chirping of the many insects of the forest. "Enjoying your mud bath?" Lankko heard Enzir's voice. He opened his eyes and saw the muddy face and body of his master. Lankko sat up and tried not to laugh at his master's appearance.
