PEONY CRIMSON’S POV "It never fails to amaze me how far Xavier would go for you," Gloria said as she turned the next page of the ancient book in her hands. She yawned, then looked at me and propped up her chin. Boredom floated in the library lower level’s air for the last fifteen minutes. To tell you the truth, I had almost forgotten what I was looking for amongst all these musty-smelling old pages. Still I could get ahold of myself and continued to comb through each paragraph with hope in my grasp.

Growling I sit up then hold the book "What's your problem, I know you're not fake so why are you hiding " " am not" The moment the book spoke I quickly let it go but it didn't fall off my hand, it remained in the air. " you..... just.... speak" stammer I crawl backward on the bed "How is a book speaking" " what do you expect lady, you have been making so much noise am forced to wake up "Two eyes open, a mouth shape forms then a nose, the book blinks then exhales loudly " It feels great to be awake again, I thought they are no more innocent women for me to eat "

When we weren't training, she made us spend all our time in the library. “Is it wrong to read those books?” I asked. “No. It's never wrong to read, sister.” She cupped my cheeks softly. “But the power in reading is knowing which information you can weaponize and which one to ignore. The lies in books are just as much as the truth.” I nodded, already committing her words to memory. She sighed and drew closer to me. “Remember this, Eloise. No one out there is your friend. They're all enemies waiting to strike you the minute you let your guard down. Use every weapon at your disposal to destroy your enemies before they destroy you. Always make the first move.”

The spell paper is gone. “No, no, no—” I instantly force myself awake, sitting up fast in the dorm bed, gasping for air as though I’ve been violently drowning. My body is trembling. The spell paper lies crumpled pitifully on the wooden floor. My window is wide open again, the cold rain misting heavily in through the frame. I curse loudly under my breath, slam the window shut, and grab a bottle of industrial-strength craft glue from my vanity table. “This is absolutely ridiculous,” I mutter, smearing thick glue onto my palm and pressing the paper firmly to it. “But you are not leaving me again, you dark piece of parchment.”

She chanted, her eyes still closed. The book before started glowing making the seal unlocked and the book opened to the middle. Glinda opened her eyes, looking at the blank page of the book. Just then, writing started appearing on the blank page. " Tonight is the night of the full moon " Glinda read out and almost immediately, the writing started erasing off by itself. Glinda's eyes widened in horror and she sprang up. " Axion " She mumbled. ×. ×. ×

The book still continues and the suspense is about getting hotter. Whatever that thing was, but how were they connected? My visions of Grisha were painful, they were draining, and they were chilling.
