Aurora came home for winter break differently. She was taller, more self-assured, and exuded a sense of belonging. At the station, Sera felt the change instantly as she hugged her daughter. Mane had just employed one of those many moves: Exploding Wings. Mane’s mumble was the trigger for the huge fiery wings that grew on his back. The wings were several dozens of meters long and several meters wide. When they appeared on Mane’s back they rose high into the sky, and flapped rapidly. Yet their beating didn’t lift Mane up or take him into the sky. With the beating of those wings, the cry of a Phoenix filled the ears of all who were here, and several large flames descended upon the retreating goblins, burning them all to a crisp. The fire was stronger, completely eliminating the goblins in less than a second.

When the winged wolf finally couldn't hold on and let go of the rock to fall down, the tree beneath him finally grew to a size that could bear his weight.

Mama finished. "Oh my goodness! I h..have, I have wings. They just grew out!! Oh gosh!" I frantically walked around my room with my so called wings dragging behind me. My reaction was making everyone nervous but who wouldn't react this way?!! "What happens now?" I asked hesitantly while feeling my right wing for the first time. They were soft yet strong, resilient. "Training continues. We must find out the extent of your powers. You just grow stronger and stronger everyday my child. I bet there's a lot more in you," my mother said eyeing my wings in awe. "But first, get some rest."

I walk up to my mom and say “the new trees are doing well, almost too well. They are already starting to flower. “ “That’s weird we only just planted them a month ago they shouldn’t be flowering until at least next year.” She said questioningly. “Maybe your powers are getting stronger, and we didn’t realize.” It is possible, but I have been in complete control of my powers since I was a young child, and I could always feel them growing in the past and nothing seemed out of place. Usually by the time witches are teenagers their powers have grown to their full extent. It’s been a long day in the sunshine.
