Guard Me Sherlock Mikah Novels & Stories

She then took a step back and circled the dome, her eyes wandering over to the niches on the walls, carved in the symbol of the guardians chosen to protect what they must hold dear the most. Then stopped as her eyes landed on the niche on the wall with an intricate carving of a wave. As the symbol gave off a small but weak glow as a sign that a guardian had been chosen. “How interesting...” she murmured. “Wonder what will happen...” “I didn’t expect you to come back here so soon.” a voice spoke as it let out a chuckle. “Not after what you’ve done.” She quickly whipped her head, her eyes searching for the voice who had addressed her so plainly without considering what she could do in the situ

"Man on the stairs, Asher. Watch your back" Asher swore under his breath. There was an extra man on duty tonight. Wasn't that always the way? He left the door, pivoted and pressed his body into the shadows. Someone walked into view, his gun drawn. "Hey, Mildred, are you alright? There's been some trouble. Chase is missing" "What?" When things went to hell, they did so at light speed. Kimberly's female guard aka Mildred, stumbled from her seat. Asher heard the sound just as he zapped the guard. Unfortunately she tried the door and found it unlocked. There was the sound of a pistol being cocked.

A tall man with thinning hair and critical eyes, grizzled on his cheeks, stepped forward. “Relax,” he said, but nothing about the command was relaxing. “We aren’t going to hurt you. Kiara Vale, right?” With humans on all sides, I crouched and pinned my ears back, evoking a look of ferocity. They had me cornered, but I wasn’t going down easily. “I promise we’re not going to hurt you,” said the man. “We’re the Mythguard. We’ve been trying to recover your mother, Muriel Vale. Please, trust us.”

If he could not answer those basic questions, it could only mean one thing—Stephen’s identity was questionable! Simon panicked and rushed up the stage to snatch the microphone away from Hugo, but at that moment, Victor gestured to the security guard. The guard immediately stepped forward to separate Simon and Hugo, seemingly protecting Simon but was actually shielding Hugo behind him. Hugo looked at Simon. “Don’t be in such a hurry. I was entrusted with a message for you.” Simon’s heart sank, and an uneasy feeling spread from his feet to his head. Even his soul subconsciously screamed, “Quick! Cut the livestream!”

You couldn’t hear me, and you stopped moving. I look down at the dagger to see the sable eye moving and blinking. ‘It’s Micah. I saw him again. He said he would always be with me by my side in spirit. I get it now!’ I say, standing with a smile. ‘Part of Micah is in this dagger. Micah wasn’t kidding when he said he had carved his eye in the dagger so he could always keep his eye on me. He said he would always be by my side! Don’t you get it? The dagger is always by my side, whether it’s tucked in my belt or sheathed in my baldric. Micah has always been with me from the moment he died, here in this very dagger. His spirit has always been with me! This is why I could hear him whisper my name a

Noah followed and they entered the musty, old shack. The smell of wet dirt and faint odour of decay hung heavy in the air, causing Noah to scrunch his nose under his mask. The first thing he noticed wasn't the littered floor or destroyed furniture, it was the man sitting in the middle of the room, under the yellow light, tied to the chair. His face had cuts and bruises, but Noah immediately recognized him, the shock in his eyes, glaring. That was Mikael, his father's most trusted bodyguard. Mikael started working for him too after his father's death, he was the second person that Noah entrusted with everything.

He was scrolling through his phone, seemingly absorbed in emails, but she noticed the tension in his shoulders, the way his jaw tightened every few seconds. "How is Mr. Roarke doing?" she asked casually. Leonard looked up, his expression carefully neutral. "Better. The doctor said he should be back to full duties by next week." "Which doctor?" Lissa asked. A pause. Barely noticeable, but there. "Dr. Chen at Mount Sinai. She ran some tests, confirmed it was just a stomach virus." Lissa made a mental note of the name. "I'm glad to hear it. Though I must say, you seem unusually concerned about a security guard's health."

One of the female guards standing around the room, stepped forward and said; “Congratulations, Miss. It was an easy job.” “It’s boring. The poison was a waste. Throw the drinks out.” The female guard smiled and called another female guard to throw the drinks away. CEO Mika was lucky. Had she drank the milkshake she would have died. Good for her for being a cautious person. “Miss, now that CEO Mika had given up without a fight, what next?” “Asher is a stubborn mule. Tell our people to watch out for any suspicious movement and stop it as soon as possible. Nothing must go wrong until I’m standing at the altar with him tomorrow.”

I exhaled as I sank into the couch in the corner of the room, smoke stinging my eyes, but it didn’t clear the haze in my head. Micah had invaded my head, and I had no fucking idea how to get him out. My phone buzzed, pulling me out of it. The security system alert flashed. I opened it, expecting a routine update. Instead, the screen showed Micah in his suite, sitting at the desk. He had pried open the monitor’s casing, wires spilling out, his fingers moving fast. What the fuck—

I stood in the back of the club with Nathan, Brad, Tyler, and Anderson next to me, "Split up and find her." I walked around the club looking for Ophelia or Sam or one of her friends. I couldn't find her anywhere. When I got to the back of the club, I saw another door with two guards posted on either side. I walked over to the guards and they put their hand up to stop me. "VIP section. Turn around." one of the guards said. "I'm looking for Geno’s daughter.” The guard nodded his head and opened the door. I stepped into another room and saw people everywhere. I walked around the room looking through the crowd before I finally saw Chase. He looked at me with a surprised look on his face.
