Guard Me Sherlock Mikah Novels & Stories

It wouldn’t be so funny if that were to be the case. Taking a deep breath, I looked around once more, and then, knocked at the gate. I was kept there for so long, I really believed that no-one was in this house, and Eros had masterminded all these to frustrate me. “Maybe, I should call mom to know if she truly got the message properly?” I thought out loud. It was at that moment that the gate flung open, and Micah, the security guard stepped out of the mansion. “What are you doing here by this time, Sira?” He asked calmly.

“No, Sophia. I’m one hundred percent serious. I work for an organization that sanctions the assassination of men who have committed atrocious crimes against humanity. Men who have gotten away with it because they are rich or are protected by their country’s laws. That man that I’m scared might find out about you and hurt you used to be an assassin.” He must see the skeptical look on my face because he releases my waist, rubs his fingers across his mouth, then walks over to his headboard and presses some kind of tile. To my shock, the tile glows beneath his palm, like if it’s reading it. The headboard begins to shift until it splits off in opposite directions to reveal some kind of secret roo

“About ten minutes and we’ll be behind a wall and safe.” “I’m a little nervous coming here,” I admitted. “But I know you aren't expecting anything, I don’t think I am either.” “Good, I just want you to have some fun, and even make some friends. I know you don’t have but Nick so it might be nice to have a couple of friends here,” he said pulling up to the gate. “Alpha.” one of the guards spoke. “We have a guest.” “Yes,” he said looking at me. “Micah warned you were bringing a friend, everyone should be on their best behavior.”

I know that I’m an idiot for feeling that way because now I’m going back on my resolution to keep him at a distance. Looking at the keys, Priest takes a step back and says. “Okay, I’ll drop you off and call Hunter. One of our men is going to guard you until I’m out of my meeting. I’ll pick you up after you’re done working at Mal’s’. Just call me when you’re ready.” It doesn’t take long for us to get to Sweet Perfect, even with the uncomfortable silence. Right now, I’m putting the finishing touches on Sophia’s cake while Mal and Hunter keep Sophia and Micah busy. True to his word, Priest had Hunter sent someone to guard me. Unfortunately, Hunter sent Connor.

Connor said, and something in his voice told me he already suspected the answer wasn't going to be one I wanted to hear. I went through the roster myself that night, cross-referencing shift assignments against every altered entry, and the pattern narrowed fast, tightening around a single name I hadn't wanted to consider. Marcus. One of the Guardians who'd been with us since the very first night Rachel's body was found, who'd fought alongside me in that clearing when we cornered the seven rogue wolves, who I'd trusted enough to bring into rooms where we discussed Sophia's safety without a second thought.

I called out harshly. “Miss Jade.” He replied calmly, his expression not changing one bit. “What exactly is wrong with you?” I demanded, folding my arms tightly. “Are you secretly auditioning to become Xavier’s wife or something?” The second guard choked on his drink and I rolled my eyes. But at least it was a good thing that somebody here had normal reactions. “I am simply doing my job,” Miquel replied calmly. “Your job?” I repeated in disbelief. “Your job is security, not documenting my entire existence like some creepy diary entry.”

He told himself he was guarding a suspect. But when he glanced over and saw the way Luca’s face softened in sleep, the faint trace of exhaustion and relief he knew he was lying. He wasn’t guarding him, he was protecting him from everyone else and from himself. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Morning came soft and gray through the cracked window. The world outside was nothing but fog and silence, a thin breath of calm before everything went to hell again.

It was an awful feeling. I could barely speak without gritting my teeth. "Stop messing with me… I'm just a security guard. If my superior finds out, I could lose my job." Ms. Bombshell chuckled. She wrapped her hand around my manhood through my pants, gently squeezing it. "Think about it, Mr. Ziegler. Do you want me to give you a hand, or would you rather keep your boring job?" Her hand was small, but her grip was frightening. I found myself slowly melting away in her grasp.

Not even when Adrien stared back. “Adrien’s heartbeat quickened faster, and uneven, though his face stayed unreadable. He hated being watched, especially like that.” “Who’s he?” Adrien muttered to Isabella. “He’s Damien Wolfe. Security’s pick after… the threats.” She said it flat, but her mouth tightened. “Ex-military. And he starts tomorrow.” Adrien’s jaw clenched. The anonymous emails, the cryptic voicemails, he had ignored them, and deleted them. He didn’t need a guard dog. “I don’t want him.”

Is that what I'm watching? “Get him back in the chair” the voice screamed manically through the speaker. Aurora’s guard turned off her chair and ran for the bars. He fumbled with a wad of keys on his belt while anxiously watching Micha. I hadn’t noticed before, there was a locked gate within the bars. I didn’t know whether to watch Micha who was continuing to break the remainder of his bindings, or the guard who was hopelessly trying to get different keys into the locks.
