“Alright, boss. I’m done here.” “Here are today’s tips. Better be on time tomorrow, you hear?” he handed me my money. I counted them and shoved them down my pocket. Not bad for today. Almost a hundred dollars. I nodded “Thanks, boss. See you tomorrow.” I hung up my hat and apron. Before leaving I made sure to scan the area for the crazy, creepy woman. Gladly, there was no sign of her. Just a couple of people by the boardwalk and the pier. The place was already sparkling with twinkling lights and street lamps. Seemed safe.

Its calm, cold light concentrated over the palace, dispersing the dark gravity slowly. The palace stopped atomising, but it had already been reduced to ruins. I felt as if that voice was coming from the moon. ‘Amor, Zeve. Both of you shall be the guiding lights for the prophets who are yet to walk on land. Bring back the light that was taken away from this world. Some prophets will find you and some you will have to search for…’ I looked at Amor, tensing my brows. He held my shoulders and hugged me.

"Will you help us?" The Guardian of Light regarded them for a moment, its form pulsating with an ethereal glow. Then, with a nod, it extended a hand toward the darkness, sending forth a wave of pure energy that dispersed the shadows like mist before the sun. "Go," it said, its voice gentle yet commanding. "You have my blessing."

Fear gripped my heart, but then I heard Aura’s voice in my mind, clear and resolute, **“Use your light.” I focused on the warmth that emanated deep within my core, letting it build and spread until it engulfed me. The dark rogues hesitated, sensing the change, but it was too late for them. I released the light in a blinding, radiant wave. The rogues let out a collective howl of agony as the light consumed them, turning them to ash.

His heartbeat thundered in his chest, the darkness closing in like a suffocating weight. Then, suddenly, a bright light began to glow in the distance, piercing the blackness. It grew steadily, illuminating the void around him. Luca’s mind raced back to the priest’s warning: When you see her light, bow down. Without a second thought, Luca fell to his knees, his head bowed low. The light was blinding, almost too bright to endure, but he kept his gaze down, refusing to look directly at it. The priest’s words echoed in his mind, reminding him of the importance of respect, of reverence.

My eyes widened when I saw a knife behind on him. “Wait, is that a sword? A real sword? Wow, I just saw something like that,” I said and tried to touch it, but Grant quickly tapped my hand, but there was still a small wound. Is that sword so sharp? “Look at what you did. You are, give your hand to me,” he took my hand and covered his hand. I was closed by a little light that came out of it, after that— it’s disappeared; therefore, I immediately looked at Grant and my writing.

The Blazing Lights is one of the biggest clubs there is on the earth. So, it was going to be more fun than all the other times we went out clubbing. The first thing I see once entering the club is the sweating bodies dancing to loud, bass-filled music. The bright, blinding, strobe lights illuminate the otherwise pitch-black club. I guess that’s why they call it The Blazing Lights.

Eliana turned sharply. One of the glowing silver symbols on the giant door shattered. A cold wave of air burst through the chamber instantly. The lantern flames died. Darkness swallowed the room. For one terrifying moment, the only thing Eliana could hear was breathing. Not hers, but something else’s. It was slow and heavy. Her chest tightened so hard it hurt. “Stay behind me,” her spirit guide ordered. The seriousness in his voice terrified her more than the darkness itself. A pale glow suddenly appeared around him, faint silver light spreading across his body. Symbols formed beneath his feet, glowing against the stone floor like ancient writing coming alive.

“Show me what I need to do. Teach me how to guide without losing them… without losing myself.” The Moon Goddess extended her hand, silver threads of light curling outward, weaving through the shadows, illuminating paths that were previously invisible. “Listen. Watch. Feel. Lead not by control, nor by fear, nor by denying the past, but by understanding its lessons and embracing its guidance. There will be near misses, moments where instinct will carry you faster than thought. There will be tests, moments of shadow that threaten, but they do not define the path—they illuminate it, if you are willing to see.”
