I pulled my phone out of my bag, scanned the payment code, and paid exactly nine dollars. Once the confirmation came through, I put my phone away and looked up at him. " I looked up at Bella. She wasn't wrong. I did want her to give me money when I was younger. They always gave Hannah so much money, and they would also bring her to the grocery store where she bought all types of snacks and toys. None of the others noticed as the battle intensified on the ground. Penny brought her mind back to the game. She barreled towards one golem. Leaping into the air, she came down with all the force she could muster. She threw it off its feet. The golem skidded across the ground. Cold air came from her nostrils as she huffed out a breath.

He curled my fingers around the coins. “You’ll never run out of pennies again,” he told me, before turning around and walking away. I stared after him for a moment, before opening my fingers. My heart melted. I ripped the corner of the roll of pennies, so I could take one out. I lifted it to my mouth, kissed it and flipped it into the fountain. ‘I wish that I have a good day today.’ Carson nudged my hand and I patted his head. “I’m going in there. Are you gonna come with me?”

As I went to sit down, Penny suddenly faced me. " Just look at your supposed girlfriend's sister. Today must've been a good day for her not to look like she came out of a dumpster as usual.
