Don’t you think?” I force a smile, stomach knotted. “Yeah. Different vibe.” She sighs dreamily. “I still can’t believe he’s back. Even if it’s just for a week. I mean, what if this is it? What if he finally sees me as more than the little sister type?”

People began murmuring, their whispers threading through the air like invisible tendrils. "Is that Gwen Summerbell?" "She looks even more stunning than before." "Didn't she disappear after her father took her to London?" I ignored them, keeping my head high. Then, amidst the sea of unfamiliar faces, a familiar one emerged. "Gwen!" Jersey, the birthday girl herself, rushed toward me, her arms outstretched. She was as radiant as ever in a stunning deep-red gown, her dark curls styled to perfection. I smiled as she pulled me into a warm embrace.

True to his word, he did help me find him and he did behave. “Xania, what are you doing here?” Kevin asked as I stood in front of him, he seemed surprised to see me here, I guess it is understandable since I never come to these things. “Baby, who is this?” A woman who surely was younger than me wrapped her arm around Kevin’s arm and I was left with no words. “Baby?” I whispered as I stared at Kevin, shocked. I felt Theo wrap his arm around my waist and pull me in. “We are Mr and Mrs Walder, friends of Kevin here, and you are?” Theo took over smiling at the woman and she blushed as she smiled brightly and raised her left hand showing us her ring.

If Gwen was fine after the abortion, they would have a grand wedding ceremony. For the past two days ever since she woke up, she had been grieving for Neil and being worried for Nellie and Nigel. She almost forgot about this. At that thought, Luna pursed her lips. “How’s the wedding ceremony with you and Luke?” Gwen who was packing halfway paused a little. After a while, she lowered her head. “We’re not holding the ceremony for the time being. Luke…” Gwen chuckled bitterly. “Luke’s first girlfriend returned back to the country.”

“Gabe dated Kevin? He’s gorgeous!” Mark tensed beside me. “Nothing compares to you.” I kissed his cheek and Mark grumbled something, which I chose to think was ‘I love you.’ “Kevin was openly living the lifestyle when we were in school. He and Gabe have always been remarkably close, I can see the connection. Looks like I am going to need to speak with Kevin and Amberly.” Knox got to his feet. “Anything else, detective?” Brian shook his head. “No, but I do really feel like the connection is there.”

I couldn't keep my eyes off their eight packs and couldn't help but think about rubbing my hands up and down their bodies. "I can feel your emotions, Love," Gwen whispered in my ear and then took her shirt, leaving her in a sports bra and shorts. She smiled at me and walked into the ring with Stephen and Steven. I watched as all three of them trained. Stephen and Steven fought with each other, while Gwen fought with one of the men. I was shocked that she had tackled him with ease because the man was way bigger than her. "I think she is the Alpha Twin's Mate too," I heard one of the females training say

"You're not a monster. You're Kieran, hybrid alpha of the Wildings. And you're my mate." He lowered his head and kissed her then, his lips moving sensually over hers. Until Harry ruined the moment. He loudly cleared his throat and shuffled his feet. "Alpha?" Kieran pulled back slowly and glared at him. "Perfect timing, Harry." He muttered, his voice mildly sarcastic. "My apologies, Alpha." Harry bowed. Gwendolyn chuckled and started to move away, but his grip tightened around her waist, keeping her in place. "Remember my order, Harry. Nothing happened here. Gwen and I came for a visit, stayed a few days, and left."

Gwen said, looking at Mathew, who looked at her in anger and hatred. It pained Gwen to see her own mate being this way. "You are not my mate. I love Kim. I will kill you! Unbind me!" Mathew growled as the ground shook, but Gwen remained unmoved. "I'm tired. Let's just end this." Gwen said in a pained voice as she held Mathew's cheeks and kissed him.
