“This is my baby. Worked really hard to get this gym open and get a reputation. It’s pretty full most days.” I stepped in and looked around. It was full. The gym was set up in different stations. It looked like each station was a six-minute workout. Some was boxing, some was kicking, some was cardio, and some was weight training. The entire circuit would take an hour. There were people at every station working out, waiting for the lights to change. Upbeat music played and every six minutes, the lights above the station would flash and everyone would rotate left. It was impressive and I couldn’t wait to get started.

I’m gonna need something to relieve my tension on. I’m not oblivious to the fact that Ezra’s home is technically a cavern in a rather large mountain, but the gym in this place is enormous. When he opened the door, I stepped in and turned my head this way and that to take it all in. There wasn’t any expense that had been spared when creating this space. There was every piece of equipment imaginable, including a sparring ring and an area for weightlifting.

I love the idea that no one is left out. We walked through a double set of doors and was welcomed to a complete fitness room filled with weights, treadmills, cycles, leg and extension curl machines, functional trainers with weighted plates, etc. There are at least two hundred pieces of equipment in here if not more. Gray gym mats covered the floor hugging all the way to the walls. Almost all of the gym equipment was in use, and everyone stopped what they were doing, once again, and bowed to Gloria as we entered the room. I get up and walk down the corridor into the gym, “Alexa, play Papa Roach born for greatness” and within seconds Papa Roach was blasting through the speakers and I start the treadmill slowly walking and then increasing the speed start running. I could go out running but why bother when I have a massive gym inside my own penthouse. The gym has 3 walls that are all glass allowing me to see my city, to see everything that I own. I control this city and whoever says otherwise is wrong.

I hope so, because I really want to. We come to a plaza where there are a bunch of establishments. The biggest one is a gym called "Beast Maker" and it spans the entire first floor. Not the most creative name in the world, but I guess it's not too bad. "Angie works in that salon," Lionel informs me, before we enter the gym, pointing to an upstairs location that is also closed. That's pretty convenient, and it looks like a good place too. Lionel's gym is much bigger and nicer than it looks on the outside, but it's not like a normal gym. Come to think of it, they told me that wolves have a lot more strength than humans so it makes sense.

Luca stepped into a puddle of his own sweat,breathing hard and body sore as he walked back to the machine he had been using since the moment he stepped into Damian's gym, It stood tall, almost 7 feet with a cylindrical body divided into three sections and long poll like arm that extended almost a meter sprouting out from each side of the three sections, each hand moved individually and could move in synchronization with other arms making it's attack pattern unpredictable. The goal was to last as long as possible, dodging attacks while also attacking it's body that was made up of hard cushion foam.

I can see his beautiful adams apple every time he swallows. I looked away when he turned to me.
