They shouldn't have let her roam around alone. "She's Ibrahil's mate, my Queen," said Ilayda, a water fairy. She was surprised because Ibrahil was her mother's queen choice to be her groom someday. "Really? Were they together on the waterfalls? How did she end up being hurt alone?" she asked curiously. Ibrahil will never let a human roam around without an Encantado as a companion. "She went alone my Queen, she was taking photos around and stayed in the waterfalls until bigfoot found her," answered Ilayda while flying around in front of the queen.

Cleo gasped. I made the mistake to turn to see what was going on, only to see a siren, there amongst the waves. My heart pounded as I stared at her. She was beautiful, from her flawless skin that seemed to glitter, her long blonde hair swirling around her, her tail was a stark contrast to her light hair and skin, shimmering a deep red and black. Her eyes snapped towards me, and I looked into her glowing red ones, our gaze locking. Her eyes, which had moments ago been cold, seemed to fill with an emotion I couldn’t make out. Then in a flash, a huge wave hit the shore and she was before me.

Lucy was my guinea pig because she was the only other person in our coven who could turn into a creature. Everywhere Lucy went I was there, lurking. That's how I learned which nights she'd go to Kleery Lake. Once I had perfected the spell, I beat her to the lake and waited. And just like my vision, while Lucy stood on the embankment chanting, a giant mermaid arose from the lake. The giant mermaid turned into a black shadow and entered Lucy. Once inside her, Lucy dove into the water and jumped out a mermaid. Lucy was underneath the surface almost an hour before I got the courage to leave.

And when we found out about it, we immediately freed our hands off, feeling awkward to each other. he cooed, praising his little as she swam towards him with her mermaid tail, her cheeks puffed as she maintained her air and tried her best to stay underwater. "Did you see? Did you see, Daddy? Did you see? Did you?" she asked, water flying from her hands and lips as she spoke, the giddiness so obvious that it made him giddy too. They spent an hour in the pool, Madie enjoying the feeling of the mermaid tail on her thighs. She didn't even take a five-minute rest. Dario made sure to give her some fruit cups, smoothies and water to keep her hydrated, as well as full of energy.

The forest ahead was silent — too silent. Zion’s minions were already circling somewhere. Watching. Reporting, Let them. He wanted to know how far the plan had gone. I would show him progress, but not the truth. The horn remained hidden among my belongings, wrapped carefully in protective cloth. I had not dared to test it again. Not until I understood exactly how the mermaid magic responded to it. Mermaids of the North are Strange creatures with Old magic. Rare blood that many would kill for. If Zion had truly kidnapped one and I was certain he had then that creature would be the missing piece to everything.

"Go far away, I will definitely find you. Go!!!" As the horse galloped away, Cleo turned her attention to the encroaching pack of werewolves. Her heart pounded in her chest, adrenaline surging through her veins. She reached into the folds of her cloak, pulling out a small vial of potion. With a swift movement, she uncorked it and poured the quantity into her mouth. "And now, let it begin," She said with a smirk on her face.

Clay grabbed Jenna’s hand and the king smiled “So today, King Leo and Layla are going to take us on an adventure.” Jenna smiled and Clay smirked, “Is there a boat coming?” he asked. The King grinned, “Not exactly.” The queen smiled, “we got a potion from our trusted witch. Today we will all be mermaids and men for 8 hours.” Yale smiled and Amelia giggled. Adleigh was super excited, and Liala was nervous.

The trees are placed perfectly around the waterfall, so that we can clearly see the stars. The moonlight reflects off the water, making the darkness disappear entirely. "You know what this looks like?" I shake my head, "What?" "It's stupid, but this old TV show I found on Netflix, from like 2008. It's called H2O: Just Add Water. Basically, these three teenagers get lost on an island in Australia, and it has a moon pool. Every full moon, the pool has this magic energy that turns humans into mermaids. This show just had me casually thinking that I could be a mermaid, freely traveling throughout the sea. The mermaids also had powers like manipulating water, freezing water, and boiling water. I
