Hades Poseidon Novels & Stories

He grated, his annoyance blossoming. “But you do.” another god countered. “you're Zeus after all.” Dionysus cleared his throat, “It's about Hades.” Everyone present in the room let out a terrified gasp. Father hated that name and even on mount Olympus they knew of his profound hatred for his brother. I wondered who was going to stop him if he suddenly flew off the handle in anger now that Poseidon had his hands full and wasn't present. I studied Zeus, watch him struggle to hone some ounce of control. Gritting his teeth he spoke, avoiding Hade's name like mentioning it stung.

The power rolling off him is potent, and I fight the urge to bow to him. “You know who I am, boy?” he asks, and I gulp and shake my head. “No, sir, I don’t,” he chuckles, and Gaia watches us. “You have his and her eyes. No matter, you have come here for something, so let me introduce myself to you,” he says and I think, my eyes they are similar to Asteria’s and Poseidon’s. “My name is Kronos. I am the father of Poseidon, Hades, and Zeus.”

I try to break free from him, but his grip is strong and he pulls me into his chest. "Come on now, puppy. I was just fucking with you. No need to get feisty," he breathes into my ear. But I still try to push off him. "Esteban, let. Me. Go." "Or what?" He dares. "What will you do about it, Lilith Hayes?" My heart stops in an instant. What did he just call me?

Armor creates a boundary between the body and the world. This made him look almost touchable. I hated him for that too. “Weak excuse,” I said. His mouth shifted, not quite a smile, only the ghost of one. “Is it?” “House Hades’ position will be delivered through Lord Hades or through me to the new Lord Ares,” I said coolly. “House Poseidon has no need to collect it in a forgotten records room.” “House Poseidon has interest in Ares’ stability,” he replied evenly.

Studying the man's movement, she found every movement of the man was purposeful and graceful, like a predator stalking its prey. “My lord,” Beta Idris called the man's attention towards the appearance of the woman. Alpha Odysseus turned around and his gaze landed on the woman who was fidgeting with the hem of her clothes while looking down at her feet, of course, no one could bear to look at him or even summon the courage to do so. “Look up,” Alpha's Odysseus' strong features were set in a hard expression, his brow furrowed in concentration as he studied her. But beneath the cold expression, he seemed to recognize her.

I felt the silent comforting presence of Adrian and Morris beside me and knew that they were following me. Even though my destination was the Gate, I kept an eye on everything happening around me. I saw Persephone controlling wines that wrapped around the demons. Hades was next to her with black smoke rolling off him in waves. The God of the Underworld seemed absolutely content while sending the demons to his realm. I saw a giant wave of water sweeping out demons and drowning them. Poseidon had started his charm…

Or was it a spell of Aphrodite? Hades never realized that her cold nonchalant heart could feel such things until she met the lovely maiden. That night, Hades felt the sweet confusion and grew dizzy with joy and strangeness. She had seen mortals become stupid and mad in love. They fought, killed, sacrificed, and even died for it. Now she fell victim to the same spell.

Poseidon turns very serious and looks angrily at Daria. “You are by far the worst I could have chosen for this. You had two minions and you let them go. Now you come to me for help and we might get another foul,” Poseidon’s eyes turn red. He knows Hades attempted to tempt Iris to cheat and she resisted. “Another? When was our first?” Daria begins to breath more heavily. “Don’t worry about it, just walk the line,” Poseidon threatens her. Once he closes the connection; he turns to his brother, “I am going to lose, aren’t I?”

His looks seemed like he was planning something disgraceful. “Hades,” Poseidon uttered, his tone threatening. Hades looked at him with a piercing glare and then let out a sinister laugh. “Poseidon, Poseidon, Poseidon... how is your son on earth?” Hades said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. “Don’t you dare touch my son, Hades!” Poseidon was aggrieved at the mention of his son. He doesn’t know how Hades learns about his son. He sensed Zeus’ stare and he let out a sigh.
