Zeus Poseidon Hades Novels & Stories

Just when I took a step forward, Zeus's arm came before me, barring the way. “We're not alone,” he said. I barely had time to sense the unfamiliar presence before a growl sliced through the air. Then another. And another. From the shadows of the trees, several figures emerged—wild eyes, sharp claws, and looks of pure menace. Rogues. And not just werewolves. But other creatures, too. A trap. They had been waiting for us. My head snapped beside me to find Zeus looking at his mother, balls of green energy already dancing in the palms of her hands.

After being separated from their mother for a number of months, Rheis held out hope that her two younger sons, Zeus and Poseidon, would give serious consideration to paying her a visit. Rheis was not the type of mother who placed an excessive amount of expectations on her kids. In the matter of Rheis's eldest child, Hades, Rheis tended to be quite insistent most of the time. After all, Hades was not only the eldest child, but he was also the patriarch of the family. She only exerts pressure on Hades when it relates to his responsibilities at work.

I said louder. “He has hurt you most. It is your time, Poseidon.” Dropping my hand from his shoulder, I grabbed Hades’ hand. The circle was almost complete. Each god glowing brightly, radiating their power. Eleven gods stood before the glass box, ready for our souls to destroy the one that help created us. Hades squeezed my hand, his head nodding for me to pull Poseidon once more. Even if Hades and I had our issues, he surely was a good brother.

Did a letter get sent out or something, geez? “Please forgive my brothers rudeness. I am Hades, this is Poseidon, and that’s Zeus.” Hades said. I couldn’t help it, I burst out laughing. Are they serious? The big three Greek gods? Upon seeing my hysterics Zeus and Hades looked shocked, Poseidon on the other hand took the lead. “I know, our names tend to cause that reaction. Your mom Gaia sent us.” Poseidon said. That stopped my laughing immediately. “My mom?” I asked.

Zeus replied while giving a small smile and tapping Atlas on the shoulder and gesturing for him to step to the side. “Are you sure, Lord Zeus?” Atlas asked. Poseidon, Hades, and Zeus. They who were the strongest gods Olympus had to offer and were popularly referred to as the Big Three of the 2nd Heaven, had formed a three-way power triangle over the many millennia. Hades had taken charge of the 2nd Heaven’s underworld, absorbing many hells in his long reign and bringing every underworld in the 2nd Heaven under his rule. This was not because of the power of Olympus, but because of the strength of Hades himself.

Perseus raised his sword again and banged on the shield once again. BANG! He raised his sword higher. BANG! Perseus gritted his teeth even harder. The invisible shield was too strong. Only a few could pierce through it and all of them were ancient gods which died by now. Some of them were buried under the sea. Poseidon was one of them. Strangely, he couldn’t remember why Poseidon was killed. He had no recollection of it. Poseidon was the right god to check on Hades. He served as check and balance. Hades and Poseidon were each other's strengths and weaknesses.

He got up from her body and sat on his knees, both on either side of her body. He looked divine, but not like Zeus, but like Hades like there was darkness in his body and soul. A strike of thunder shone through the room, illuminating his body, and now he looked like the Norse gods, so beautiful and dangerous. She had always been afraid of thunder, for she didn’t have parents to hug her to sleep when she was scared, but this thunder didn’t scare her as she was in the presence of more terrifying horror. HIM. A sound brought her attention back; he pulled the string of his sweatpants and tied her wrists to the headboard. “Don’t, please, anything but this,” she joined her hands on the headboard.

Bob’s tone was sarcastic. Lex looked up, “I have – what have you got on Hades’ sons?” Bob produced a folded piece of printed A4 paper and handed it to Lex who snatched it hungrily. He folded it impatiently. “According to G****e, Hades, who is also known as the god of the underworld had three children, Zagerus, Macaria, and Melinoe. The first is a boy while Macaria and Melinoe are girls. Now if you’d ask me, I think this information is irrelevant. Nothing concerns Greek mythology with Nigerian homicidal maniacs.”

I answered truthfully. "Then come with me, my Aphrodite. Join me in immortality. Become one with me and let us rule this world together. With you by my side, we can continue to live in luxury and we can go against the kings of kings. With you by my side, we will become invincible. With you by my side, people will whisper our names and they will fear even the very ground that we step on. With you by my side, my Aphrodite, we will be...untouchable."

In schooling, fishes are all swimming in the same direction and a coordinated manner. ²Poseidon is one of the twelve Olympian deities of the pantheon in Greek mythology.
