Zeus - The Alpha of Hatred

Zeus - The Alpha of Hatred

Zeus hadn't even broken a sweat yet. But that sick, twisted man even as his face turned red, and blood seeped from his mouth, he grinned, his teeth stained crimson. The sight sent a chill creeping up my spine. Then Zeus's mouth moved. He said something, and in response, the old man only smiled wider. As much as I wanted that evil incarnate erased from existence, I couldn't afford to have him gone yet. He was the only lead to finding my father. Zeus knew that. He wouldn't do anything rash I know.

WIFE FOR HADES

WIFE FOR HADES

Due to the fact that they had treated each other with complete indifference ever since they were children, the atmosphere between them started to become a little bit strange. Poseidon had always held the belief that Thanatos was to blame for the growing rift that developed between him and Hades, his older brother whom he had been particularly close to back in the orphanage. Poseidon has been left out of the picture more often than not ever since Hades has had Thanatos by his side. This is typically the reason why they have disagreements with one another. As a result of arguments like these, Poseidon ultimately made the decision to move away from the mansion and live elsewhere.

Lucifer's Redemption

Lucifer's Redemption

I said louder. “He has hurt you most. It is your time, Poseidon.” Dropping my hand from his shoulder, I grabbed Hades’ hand. The circle was almost complete. Each god glowing brightly, radiating their power. Eleven gods stood before the glass box, ready for our souls to destroy the one that help created us. Hades squeezed my hand, his head nodding for me to pull Poseidon once more. Even if Hades and I had our issues, he surely was a good brother.

Raised By Gods

Raised By Gods

Did a letter get sent out or something, geez? “Please forgive my brothers rudeness. I am Hades, this is Poseidon, and that’s Zeus.” Hades said. I couldn’t help it, I burst out laughing. Are they serious? The big three Greek gods? Upon seeing my hysterics Zeus and Hades looked shocked, Poseidon on the other hand took the lead. “I know, our names tend to cause that reaction. Your mom Gaia sent us.” Poseidon said. That stopped my laughing immediately. “My mom?” I asked.

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

Zeus replied while giving a small smile and tapping Atlas on the shoulder and gesturing for him to step to the side. “Are you sure, Lord Zeus?” Atlas asked. Poseidon, Hades, and Zeus. They who were the strongest gods Olympus had to offer and were popularly referred to as the Big Three of the 2nd Heaven, had formed a three-way power triangle over the many millennia. Hades had taken charge of the 2nd Heaven’s underworld, absorbing many hells in his long reign and bringing every underworld in the 2nd Heaven under his rule. This was not because of the power of Olympus, but because of the strength of Hades himself.

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

Emperor Shadow

Emperor Shadow

Perseus raised his sword again and banged on the shield once again. BANG! He raised his sword higher. BANG! Perseus gritted his teeth even harder. The invisible shield was too strong. Only a few could pierce through it and all of them were ancient gods which died by now. Some of them were buried under the sea. Poseidon was one of them. Strangely, he couldn’t remember why Poseidon was killed. He had no recollection of it. Poseidon was the right god to check on Hades. He served as check and balance. Hades and Poseidon were each other's strengths and weaknesses.

Athena

Athena

He got up from her body and sat on his knees, both on either side of her body. He looked divine, but not like Zeus, but like Hades like there was darkness in his body and soul. A strike of thunder shone through the room, illuminating his body, and now he looked like the Norse gods, so beautiful and dangerous. She had always been afraid of thunder, for she didn’t have parents to hug her to sleep when she was scared, but this thunder didn’t scare her as she was in the presence of more terrifying horror. HIM. A sound brought her attention back; he pulled the string of his sweatpants and tied her wrists to the headboard. “Don’t, please, anything but this,” she joined her hands on the headboard.

Please Be Careful With My Heart; My Dearest CEO

Zeus stood up and walked out of the office without sparing anyone a look. He knew within himself that Hazel was the perfect person for the job and she would love to do it but he had his reasons for ignoring her. His attention was suddenly called when he heard Hazel’s voice while getting close to his office. He creased his brows at the fact that he only knew of Anya’s presence, not wanting to get too much attention from everyone, Zeus walked faster to them. He halted when he saw Hazel and Anya glaring at each other, anger brimmed within him at the scene they were creating.

The Sons of Hades

The Sons of Hades

Bob’s tone was sarcastic. Lex looked up, “I have – what have you got on Hades’ sons?” Bob produced a folded piece of printed A4 paper and handed it to Lex who snatched it hungrily. He folded it impatiently. “According to G****e, Hades, who is also known as the god of the underworld had three children, Zagerus, Macaria, and Melinoe. The first is a boy while Macaria and Melinoe are girls. Now if you’d ask me, I think this information is irrelevant. Nothing concerns Greek mythology with Nigerian homicidal maniacs.”

Aphrodite

I answered truthfully. "Then come with me, my Aphrodite. Join me in immortality. Become one with me and let us rule this world together. With you by my side, we can continue to live in luxury and we can go against the kings of kings. With you by my side, we will become invincible. With you by my side, people will whisper our names and they will fear even the very ground that we step on. With you by my side, my Aphrodite, we will be...untouchable."

Frequently Asked Questions

In Greek mythology, the main powers of Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus are fascinating and deeply interwoven within the narratives of gods and mortals alike. Each of these formidable gods holds sovereignty over significant domains that shape the ancient worldview. Let's start with Zeus, the king of the gods, who reigns from Mount Olympus. He is often depicted wielding a thunderbolt, symbolizing his mastery over the sky and weather. His powers allow him to control storms, lightning, and even the fate of mortals. Zeus is known for his sense of justice, often acting to maintain order among both gods and humans, though his love life is notoriously chaotic!

On the other hand, Poseidon, the god of the sea, is equally powerful yet distinctly different in temperament. He carries a trident, which is not just a weapon but also a tool that can stir the oceans or create earthquakes. Sailors prayed to Poseidon for safe travels, reflecting his dominion over the waters. He could be capricious—his moods could create calm seas or violent storms, and myths abound about his conflicts with other deities and humans alike.

Then there is Hades, who rules the underworld. Interestingly, Hades is often misunderstood; he isn’t the embodiment of evil as many may believe. His powers relate to the afterlife, governing the souls of the deceased. Unlike his brothers, Hades rarely interferes with the world of the living, yet his realm is essential for balance in the mythological cosmos. His wealth, symbolized by the bountiful resources found underground, reflects his status as a keeper of souls rather than a bringer of doom. The dynamics between these three brothers paint a rich tapestry of rivalry, respect, and balance that has captivated audiences for centuries.
