The Tiancang Sect’s mountain showed up on the eighth morning, and honestly, it was overwhelming. Three peaks, all lashed together with white stone bridges you could spot from miles off. Clouds tangled around them, drifting a little too purposefully to feel natural. Waterfalls spilled from the cliffs but disappeared into the mist before they ever touched the ground—like the mountain was too grand to let anything just finish. Cultivators glided between the peaks on their swords, tiny as birds from where Lihua stood. Their robes caught bright flashes of light.
