" Billy muttered as the customers stared at her. She walked over to the counter and washed her hands in the sink after she had placed the tickets on the counter. "That was brave of you, I would not have done that for a million bucks" Hazel spoke as she scoffed. "Easy for you to say" Billy picked one of the tickets and read through it. "Halloween show by 9 PM? Come with your favorite Halloween costume and a partner!" He laughed and turned the back of the ticket. "But, are the skulls on the ticket necessary?"

Halloween in Bluebridge is a big thing, it's bigger than Christmas. People decorated the trees along the pathways, front lawns were turned into creepy pumpkin fields. All the street lights were turned off, the only lights were coming from candles, torches, and the stars. People turned on minimum lights in their houses so the essence of Halloween can be captured throughout the whole town. It was a tradition that's been passed on from generation to generation. Bluebridge turned into a murderous ghost town for one night, and Charlene loved it so much.

For this town is special, and its citizens terrifying. Mrs. Hagatha Belfry stepped out of her front door and onto the porch with a cup of tea in hand. Throughout the town, even though it was winter and snowy in the surrounding wood, autumn leaves sprouted from every limb of every branch of every tree, and the fallen leaves were replaced by new leaves overnight. Lilith’s Hollow is graced by the autumn season all year round, thanks to a witch’s spell from one who lived in town long before Mrs. Belfry’s centuries of residency there. After all, this was the town that Halloween built. Mrs. Belfry, along with all of the werewolves, zombies, mad doctors, monsters, ogres, and more mythical creatures

Amara shivered gasping his dreadful countenance. The complete furniture in the house shattered around her like somebody threw it to the floor breaking to pieces. Multiple hands of the dead people reach out from under the earth trying to crawl out and Jessica stands with her arms wide apart laughing hysterically ................... ✍🏽 I wake up the following day, the day of Halloween. The house is lit up with pumpkin lights, some new red candles at the window waiting to burn, fake cobwebs on the door, rubber spiders on the toilet seat and blood paints on the door We played a recording of people screaming and people screaming while getting butchered and sounds of chainsaw ripping through the flesh of unfortunate souls—lovely tunes I meet Haley at the Kitchen, she just got the Halloween cookies out of the oven. He found a tainted scent leaving the bush, doused in bleach water. The bleach water was actually helping him to follow the trail easier now that she had changed into someone else’s clothes. Then she must have run out of bleach water, because the tainted trail continued without the bleach scent. He was impressed with her plan; she did it so well, so far. He was proud of her accomplishments; he could see them getting along like a house on fire. “Hey, Dale?” He called in mind link. “What?” He all but snarled with annoyance.

A massive building suddenly appeared in front of Valeria, making her stop in her tracks. The walls were painted black with red splatters that looked like dripping blood. Valeria winced at the sight, instantly reminded of the image of the deer she had seen earlier. Twisted neon lights formed the words Haunted House, hanging above the entrance, with a mechanical clown face beside it that opened and closed its mouth on repeat. The clown alone was creepy enough to make Valeria’s skin crawl. No wonder the kids were scared yesterday.

“If you think everything here costs a fortune, you should see Luther’s office. He has a chandelier and three life-sized statues of himself in there.” Isabel burst out laughing. “Rich people are wild.” Cassie had lined up the items that Isabel had purchased onto her table. Large bottles of vinegar, baking soda, nail polish remover and bleach of different brands stood like soldiers awaiting a command from their superior. Beside them lay a pack of rubber gloves and napkins. “I’m supposed to get the stain out from the couch. So since you’re already here, could you please start from the right with the bleach and I’ll start from the left with the vinegar?” She asked, extending a pair of rubber glo
