After last night___" Sarah's mood turned sour. "Thanks but I am fine ace..." She said nonchalantly and ran towards her car, Ace was confused by her behavior. Whatever happened last night and whatever she saw, after that she wasn't ready to stay in this mansion. She looked out of the car window and adrenaline rushed in her body when she saw those scary grey orbs which were staring straight in her soul. Xavier was standing in the garden with his gym clothes on and was looking at Sarah like she is his prey.

I waited until they were close enough to smell the garlic breath of the bearded one, and then I swung. I smashed the metallic mop stick into his grin. He fell with a loud scream. In that brief second of distraction, I grabbed a bottle of bleach and dumped it into the accomplice's eyes before doing the same to the man on the floor. While both were screaming, I ran out of the cleaning closet, wondering if I had just put myself into a deeper mess.

The freshly scent of bleach, though faint, is strong enough to churn my stomach. It's the kind of clean that tries too hard... the kind that hides blood. SOMEONE HAD DOUSED our entire front yard in crimson red while we were eating breakfast. Everything from the bushes to my parent’s windows was splattered with the foul paint with the words ‘Happy Birthday, Murderer’ written in harsh red strokes across the front door, like something right out of a horror flick.

I took her inside and laid her in the bathtub and took the sheet, leaving the room to get a trash bag. “Take a long, hot bath, I’ll be back in a bit.” “No!!
