Thousands of spectators started to wonder, thinking it was just a change in the weather. Lansear finally caught his attention. His eyes were fixed on the Halan Princess. The wolf just huffs again and I roll my eyes.

One of the Alphas asked Dylan. "We will use our claws not our teeth to kill them. Mind link our all members to use their claws in war to kill enemy. And warn them about the poison. I told Mateo and closed the mindlink. I looked at the moon and prayed to the moon goddess Selene, the goddess of wolves, to hold and help Lory cope with her emotions, to help her understand that we didn't wish her harm, and that she belonged here. I don't know why such trials were placed on Lory's path, but I know there must be specific reasons for it. Selene doesn't make mistakes; she has her reasons for her actions.
