Claimed by the Seven Alphas

Claimed by the Seven Alphas

Landed on the unlit candle. He raised his hand. Pinched the candlewick between his thumb and forefinger. Twisted it once. The gesture of two hundred years of writing the Codex. The habit of checking whether the ink had dried. There was only frost on the wick. No ink. His fingers hung in the air for a moment. Dropped. He spoke. His voice was deeper and slower than the recording on the encrypted channel. Every word was like hauling a stone up from the bottom of a dry well.

The Billionaire's Debt-Bride

The Billionaire's Debt-Bride

And then, the paper began to feed. It wasn't a law. It wasn't a debt. It was a poem a collective, crowdsourced verse pulled from the "Warmth" of the city’s hybrid receipts. We are the ink that refused to dry. We are the light that learned to stay. Between the zero and the one, We found the thumbprint in the grey.

My tears rolled and crept down my face and landed between the pages beneath and on my chest. I take the corner of the cover carefully and hold it between my finger and thumb. I open to a blank page. I then keep on going and I see writing on all pages. "Poems." I breathe. Most are written in blank ink, some in pencil. All of them are drawn with a careless yet wispy style of writing. His writing. I keep on turning the pages in awe. My eyes can't keep up with the endless stream of words. I reach the end of the book.

Reincarnation - The Divine Doctor and Stay-at-home Dad

Reincarnation - The Divine Doctor and Stay-at-home Dad

Then, she opened the tubes, took out two scrolls, and spread them on the desk. At the same time, the projector showed the pictures on the large screens. All the spectators below the stage saw them clearly. On the two pictures was an ancient poem that said, "Better to study, no matter how late it is, in the candlelight or when the roosters are crowing; better to study when your hair's still black, or the regrets will multiply once it turns grey." The poem, which was called Better to Study, was written in cursive handwriting. The handwriting looked quite spirited. At the end was the writer's name. The poem had been written by the greatest calligrapher of all time, Yan Zhenqing.

Good Novel should have a feature where readers are allowed to grade novels based on contents, grammar, errors in spellings, names, storylines and maybe repeats. And these gradings come with deductions of the point values of future chapters. This exercise will keep quality control automatically

i I see the i this chapter the person writing is zenophobic. He or she does not like black people or foreigner s.The story is read by different kinds of people. I think the writer needs to write a apology chapter for promoting discrimination

Intricacies of the heart

Intricacies of the heart

I just beamed through it all. He slid a folded sheet of paper into my hand. His handwriting, a poem. Intimate. Vulnerable, everything he never says aloud. I hugged him tightly, this one broke me. Gift sixteen. “Crest…” my voice cracked. “This is beautiful.” “You’re beautiful,” he murmured. “I just wrote what I see.”

ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR.BILLIONAIRE

ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR.BILLIONAIRE

So maybe we will. Skye looked at me, her fingers trembling slightly. “Do you think it’s Rachel’s?” I shook my head. “Different handwriting.” “Calla?” “Could be.” We sat on the floor, shoulders touching, and turned the page. Skye – POV It was poetry. Not clean, edited, published poetry. Raw. Almost angry in parts. Then heartbreakingly soft. One page read: I gave up my name once. It didn’t save me. But it saved her.

Bound by Voices

She crouched, touching a glowing letter. It pulsed once beneath her fingertip, warm and alive. > “The world’s writing poetry now,” she murmured. > “Or asking questions,” Adrian said behind her. He knelt, studying the lines. “They’re fragments. Conscious thoughts trying to connect.” > “Like a baby’s first words?” > “More like a symphony learning its first note.” The words kept appearing, vanishing as soon as the rain touched them. > “It’s thinking out loud,” Mira whispered. “We made a world that dreams.”

Fifty years

Fifty years

Six years in the fifty years, two years to the fifthiet year When i was a child, my mama used to sing me a poem when i woke up from the nightmares. She'd wipe my sweat and brush away the hair sticking to my face. These hands have subdued stubborn jungles unmasked fertile groves and plumbed the seedful promise of loamy plains The hands calloused like a tortoise shell have tended tendrils, joyous, in their leafy dance on the spine of stakes

Tuberose

Tuberose

The world seems to fade away, and all that matters is this intimate moment shared between us. The soft tunes of a roadside musician's guitar add to the enchantment of the night. The melodies blend with the moon's ethereal glow, making it feel like we're in a dream. Feeling inspired by the magic of the surroundings, I decided to do something spontaneous. I get up and lean back, placing my palms on the ground as I lift my face to the heavens. The moon's radiance bathes my skin, and I feel a surge of freedom and wonder. With the night sky as my canvas, I begin to recite a heartfelt poem, my words carrying the emotions that dance within my heart:

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

The Villainess Wants To Make Baby First, Revenge Later!

I poke his arm which is bulged as he is skinning a pig he has hunted. He looked at me with a bashful face. “But it's an ordinary letter, not a poem. How can I write poetry?” he looks bashful, and I can't wait to tease him! “Then you are a genius! I felt so precious when I read your letter.” Dylan brought his face closer to mine. I had prepared by closing my eyes to wait for what would come after. But after waiting a few seconds, I didn't feel anything on my lips, but on my forehead instead.
