Savage Maui Boys
The protagonist in the story reminds me a bit of myself, which adds to my enjoyment.
Just as I crack open the book, my phone rings. Glancing at the caller ID, I smile to myself. "Hello," I answer, and as soon as I hear her voice, tears start streaming down my face. Lately, I've been missing my family so much. It feels like ever since we moved to Hawaii, I haven't been able to see them as often. By the end of our call, I feel happy. A goofy grin spreads across my face, and if anyone were to see me right now, they would think I've lost my mind. Maybe I have.
