Happy the Stripper

Happy the Stripper

And now he was so interested in Felicity. “I find her interesting, that’s all.” He simply replied. “But there are more decent ladies out there. Women who have degrees come from wealthy families. Also, Happy is a single mom. She also works here.-” “So, you were saying that she isn’t?” Jeremy doesn’t like how Mr. Tan describes her, which made him upset. “I-it’s not that… I mean. Happy is not your type. She’s a single mom, and she didn’t even graduate from high school-”

I will go crazy if this goes on. I quickly make myself a hot cup of coffee and turn on my laptop. A private message from my new favorite reader pops up. hopelessromantic❤️ Hey... I am eagerly waiting for your next book. So stop it with the torture already... I crave a taste of your books. Couldn't the whole world be like this? Kind and sweet to the other person. Maybe that is just the cure to the countless forms of hate in this world. Just kindness and sweetness and lots of love. Happiness, Just Out of Reach

Happiness, Just Out of Reach

For the first time that night, he took off his earbud, smiling as he ruffled my hair. "Aleah, thanks for being so understanding. Things are different now. A marriage certificate doesn't mean much. We should stand our ground, not give in just because your grandpa wants us to get married. Besides, aren't we happy like this?" Layne's voice was gentle, but it cut through me like a blade. Two years ago, Ruby's parents were abducted and killed after saving the Harper family. Since then, she'd developed severe separation anxiety. That was when she quietly started becoming a constant presence in our lives.

he countered. "I don't agree. You can be happy by reading a good book, watching the sky or television, dancing to a great song, or even getting promoted at work. Happiness can come from the simplest things, like choosing a brand of tomato sauce," I said, throwing a preferred brand of tomato sauce into the cart. "Reading a book requires commitment and dedication. All the things you mentioned demand certain commitments, and commitments don't last long," he argued. "You're so odd. I'm not getting closer to you. I don't want to get infected with your aversion to love and happiness," I joked, walking ahead. I could sense him smiling behind me, and it made me blush.

Stephanie Estrada
I loved this book, although Caden was such a jerk, after getting into it and realizing why his character was like that, it made a lot of sense. I'm so glad I came across this book, it's one I would read over and over again. Author, you did an overall excellent job, I hope to read more from you soon.

Caden makes me so angry. I genuinely hate him. Love the main character though. Very good writing, I wish our main character could find someone who doesn’t give in so easily or like if our main character could have pepper spray or something to stand up to him.

I Never Hated You

I Never Hated You

I draped her pancakes with honey and dropped it on the table right in front of her, serving it with a glass of milk, after which I went back to the kitchen and had mine with a cup of hot chocolate. No one was at the hospital when I got there, and luckily for me, I brought a book along, so I sat right beside the bed and started reading the book. The book was “ My Father's Wish” by Bellaboy, a touching story of how a young man, Hunter, was set up by his late father's will to marry his middle school bully, Hazel, just so that he; Hunter, could claim his inheritance.

After Everything

“Um ok, you really are amazing.” “I am, it’s part of the charm.” “Favourite author then?” “V.E. Schwab her fantasy writing is fucking out of this world amazing.” “Addie LaRue was spectacular.” “Yes it was, ok who’s your favourite author?” I ask then. “Colleen Hoover, she has me crying for days. Ugly Love had me staring at the wall at 3am. November 9 had me in tears and Verity I was just so fucking shocked by that book I didn’t know what to do.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Oh man, when I need a mood boost I raid my bookshelf like it's a candy store — bright covers first, then the go-to comfort reads. If you want something warm and impossibly kind, pick up 'The House in the Cerulean Sea' — it's tiny, magical, and hugs you through the pages. For laugh-out-loud modern romance, 'The Rosie Project' is a hilarious, sweet ride about someone learning to bend for love. If you like absurd, globe-trotting capers that make you grin, try 'The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared'; its tone is so gleefully chaotic.

I also keep a soft spot for classics and cozy sagas: 'Anne of Green Gables' is pure sunshine — Elizabethan language aside, Anne's optimism is infectious. 'The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency' series is like sipping hot tea on a warm porch, full of gentle wisdom and quirky cases. For bookish, bittersweet joy mixed with charm, 'The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society' has letters, recipes, and people healing one another. When I need something whimsical and queer-positive, 'The House in the Cerulean Sea' and 'Good Omens' often fight for my reread slot.

If you want a quick plan: pick one light rom-com, one cozy mystery, and one small fantasy or absurd comedy. Pair with a favorite snack and 90 minutes where you don't check notifications. Books that make me laugh or feel seen are the best medicine, and I love recommending them to friends when they text me a one-word mood. Happy reading — may your next book lift you like a warm blanket on a cold morning.
