A Little Bit of Joy

A Little Bit of Joy

Sappy novel with mopey dialogues and dragged out bits, it still provided me with much needed solace. Time was running out for me and a book lover like me wouldn't- scratch that- shouldn't waste their time on books like these. But I preferred to not explore the masterpieces of literature, out of the fear that once I got engrossed in it, it would be physically impossible for me to read all the books in the world. And I would want to read all the books in the world. It would lure me to become a recluse, lost in fiction world forever. I couldn't afford that right now. I turned to fiction in distressing moments like these, it was my own sort of therapy like people who found music their escape. A

Traded to the Ruthless Alpha

Traded to the Ruthless Alpha

Reya I didn’t realize that happiness can make a person restless. For most of my life, I’ve pictured happiness as something quiet and steady. The kind of peace that settles on other people’s faces when they sat beside someone they love or return to a place that fits them. I thought if it would ever come for me that I would fold into it and stop thinking so much. Instead, I can’t stop smiling. That’s the embarrassing part. I have spent nearly half an hour propped up against the pillows with the book that Killian gave me spread open across my lap, pretending to read while he works at the small desk by the window. I made it through a whole two pages before my attention began to drift toward him.

Beautiful Faults

Beautiful Faults

Like he had said, I’ll never find happiness. Hey everyone, the turn up for this book has been terrible; zero comments and few reads. It has been heartbreaking compared to the efforts that I’d put into writing it but that’s one of the reasons why I’m a writer. I’ll make sure I finish this book and not give up on myself. To you who who have faith in me as well, thank you for never giving up on the lazy and unintelligent writer who’s doing her best to add color to the world. Thanks❤️❤️❤️ Stay safe out there.

Book 3# - A desperate wish

Book 3# - A desperate wish

I would often feel my stomach kick me with hunger , as my nose smelt the food that was cooking but I easily turned my attention back to the burning kingdom. Eventually after a while , I hear footsteps nearing me – I do not take notice of the person who takes a seat next to me and the masculine scent that enters my nose accompanied by the delicious smell of food , I come to a conclusion that it is Xavier with a plate of food. “Here…” he brings a spoon full of the bowls content to my mouth , and at first I refuse it but eventually I had given in to it’s scent and opened my mouth. He began to feed me , and I actually enjoyed it – it was comforting , like he is there for me but did not need to r

A Game With The Billionaire

A Game With The Billionaire

I intentionally lost the game, which Emma is very aware of and I ended up making breakfast for my wife. Turns out the best happily-ever-after is simply refusing to hit game over. ---- Note: English is not my first language, so there might have been typos that I might have missed while editing. First of all, if you liked this book, even if it's just a little. Holy crap, thank you very very much. You have validated months (or maybe years) of me talking to these fictional characters in my head. And if you disliked this book, rolled your eyes at the absurdity of it all. Thank you because to hate something, you have to feel for it.

I’ve now read this book twice. It was fantastic the first time and I caught things I missed the second time. Great storyline, no rushing through the story and I felt like it ended with no loose ends. Can’t wait to read about more of the characters in the next book!

 Savage Maui Boys

Savage Maui Boys

The protagonist in the story reminds me a bit of myself, which adds to my enjoyment. Just as I crack open the book, my phone rings. Glancing at the caller ID, I smile to myself. "Hello," I answer, and as soon as I hear her voice, tears start streaming down my face. Lately, I've been missing my family so much. It feels like ever since we moved to Hawaii, I haven't been able to see them as often. By the end of our call, I feel happy. A goofy grin spreads across my face, and if anyone were to see me right now, they would think I've lost my mind. Maybe I have.
