She was fully immersed in her work and was not aware of the otherworldly things. Around an hour later, Dr. Valentine entered the hall and saw her lost in her drawing. Smiling a little, he walked to her. His jaw fell apart in surprise to see the art. She drew and colored the cherry blossom tree. It looked so vibrant and lively. He was amazed by her work and started clapping spontaneously. Startled, Lisa dropped the pencil and turned her head, only to see him smiling brightly at her. She gawked at him without a blink. “I knew that you can do it. Look, how beautifully you draw.”

She tried to scramble back to her feet, but the stickiness of the liquid held her down, like a prey caught in a trap. I shook my head again in disappointment, why do they trouble this poor girl? What is so funny in making another person suffer this much? I heard Ethan chuckle as he got up holding his phone in his hands. Pushing aside my worries for a moment, I shifted my focus to them, eager to see their creations. "That's wonderful, sweeties! Let me see." I beckoned them closer, and they eagerly rushed over, holding their drawings into my hands. Luna's drawing shown a colorful garden scene, complete with flowers, butterflies, and a shining sun, while Ace's featured a tall tree laden with apples, surrounded by smiling stick-figure people.

I picked up the next drawing, and paused. It was a messy picture of a woman wearing glasses. I blinked, then raised an eyebrow, pointing to myself. “Is… is that me?” Hannah nodded quickly, her fingers twisting together. “Y-yes,” she said nervously. “Is it good?” A soft laugh escaped me before I could stop it. I pulled her into a hug, holding her tightly. “Yes. It’s perfect.” She smiled, clearly relieved, her body relaxing against mine. I continued flipping through the drawings, my smile still lingering, until I reached the last one. My hands stilled as I looked at the drawing of four people.
