She secretly rolled her eyes to her own silly lie. "Let's see." His hands stopped as he looked above him, as if trying to find words that are comprehensible for a child. "It's a place where adult people can have a party, drink adult juice, dance to loud music, and basically do adult stuff, and only adults are allowed there. The owner of that place is my friend and tonight is the opening. I wanted to invite Gray to come over and unwind." So a nightclub, huh? she thought to herself. It reeked of alcohol, sweat, and desperation—the perfect cover for men like the Cobras. This was no ordinary nightclub. It was a front, a place where illicit deals were made in the shadows while unsuspecting partygoers drowned themselves in booze and music. I moved through the entrance with Hayden at my side. The moment we stepped in, I grabbed his wrist firmly, pulling him close. My fingers pressed into his skin, a silent warning.

I told Leon as I parked outside the club. Nocturne was unlike any other place in the city—a werewolf-only sanctuary owned by the Hawthornes. Getting through its doors required an invitation and an expensive yearly membership, which guaranteed privacy, luxury, and indulgence without the presence of human eyes. But I needed to focus on my night out and my race that is in three days. Forty-five minutes after we got on the road we pulled up outside a nightclub called the Pink Panda. There is a waiting line going down the side of the building so it looks like we are going to have a long wait. Merigold, Trina, and I get out. I see Ratchet and Matt pull next to us. Part of me considered going in there and talking to him while it was just the three of us here but decided against it. I knew it would be a few hours before anyone came in, so I decided to go and see Harley after all. Thanking Jackson for the cigarette again, I stood up and to her room. I debated knocking but figured that she was probably still sleeping and just opened the door just a crack and peaked in. ‘Harley?’ I whispered but there was no answer and no movement from the duvet-slug on the bed. I went inside and leaned over to pull the duvet down and give her a kiss but before I could, I heard Ron shout from the clubhouse.

Elle POV. A party! Dancing, and drinks, and a club, something I never been into before the whole place was dark, there was no chairs, just some small tables and seating around it, the bar was in the middle, it was the only place with light in it, I guess so people would know what they are buying, and what they are paying.
