Harley nodded at Charlie. “My girl here runs it.” Charlie let out a deep sigh and shook her head. “I don’t run it. I own it, Harley. I’ve owned it for four years.”

Sighing, I crossed my arms, not sure how to tackle this. I needed to speak to Harley and find out what she actually knew, what she actually saw. Cleo used her thumb and pointed towards the apartments. ‘What's the problem?’ I just smiled.

I know it was the dead of the night but there should have still been a couple of guards patrolling and the fact that Xavier wasn't in the room meant that there was something to attend to. For the life of me, I couldn't find my phone so I couldn't even think to call him. Eventually, I ended up falling asleep again, not knowing that a greater danger was waiting for me.
