I immediately begin to take shots and have to pull back to give myself time to heal. "Get behind me, princess. Mommy's got this." Harper says, going out in front of me. I watch in awe as she aims and shoots, barely missing a single shot. When she runs out of ammo, she grabs the bayonet from the end of her gun and rips it off before charging and stabbing every enemy player. She carries the whole team, practically winning the round for us. Ev and I look at each other gaped mouth while Harper giggles with excitement.

"I-I appreciate the gesture, Isla. I've never experienced anything like this before." I reached across the table, placing my hand gently on hers. "Harper, I know you've had a difficult past, but we're here now, in a place where you can leave it behind. Beta Mikasa loves you, and we want to support you, to help you heal. Jack was screeching above them in his wyvern-form, blasting wolves with ice, but more and more enemies were appearing. There wasn't an end to them. So many packs wanted only one thing: get to the portal underneath the castle. They were fighting to the last breath to reach it, and Saint widened his eyes upon seeing Harper scream. "No, get off me! You fucking cunt! Ouch, you bit me! Let go!" Harper was no longer in her wolf form. She had turned back to a human from exhaustion and punched at werewolves trying to murder her. Her legs kicked and flared, and blood splattered over the grass.

"Oh my god, Heather's outfit is insane. She looks exactly like the rich, glamorous girl in the photos." I rested my chin on one hand and looked at him with a faint smile. "Have you been waiting long?" Lewis's ears turned red at once. He sat up a bit straighter, though a trace of nervousness still showed in his voice. "You're Moonwalker? Your voice sounds different from the game." Comments continued to scroll past. "She slipped up." "Our main girl chats with top players all the time. Of course, he can tell voices apart." I gave a soft laugh. "I use a voice changer in the game."

Two, Rahela, you find a way to make Harper die without actually killing her.” The two ladies were stunned when it drew on them that I didn't want Harper dead. I simply needed everyone to believe that she was dead so I could take the next step to defeat my greedy cousin whom I had shown nothing but love. He kidnapped my mom before I could enjoy her presence after I went through hell to get her to Royal Hills. “Please make the second option possible, Healer Rahela. I do not deserve it but please help me save my child.” Harper pleaded and Rahela made her heart stop beating. The game started from there.

“Hurry up and tell me your plan. I can improve it.” James chuckled. “I’ll give you a task then. We’ll discuss it after you complete it.” Upon hearing that, Harper frowned. “Do you want me to give birth to a baby? I can do it now.” “Get lost.” James said, annoyed, “I want you to sneak into the Terythor Universe and meet the commander of the Goyo Sect.” When Harper heard that, she rolled her eyes. “Do you want to persuade him to surrender?”

“He’s a member of the Carina wolf pack. Meredith dated him before Owen, and he became obsessed with her. He hasn’t been blessed with a mate. Some wolves aren’t. And because of that, he’s gone kind of feral. He doesn’t obey anyone else’s rules. He’s been trying to come after our family for ages.” Mia clutched Harper to her tightly. She looked down at her. “Harper, we’re going to send you far, far away. I need to be brave for me, alright? You’re going to go someplace safe.” “Where?” Harper asked. “I don’t know,” she said, “but we’re going to make the Grey Wolf go away. Her eyes sparkled like a Disney character’s, and I suddenly felt my throat tighten. “What is it?” she asked, blinking innocently. “Nothing, I’ll grab us some water. We can play something else after,” I replied, feeling flustered. She didn’t know how much she affected me, so I quickly turned to buy drinks. When I returned, Harper was at the slot machines, clearly less familiar with how to play. I explained the rules to her, and we spent the next hour playing shooting games together. “Are you happy?” I asked as we walked out around midnight.

He couldn't take his eyes off the goddess and I had the sudden urge to scream in his face so that I could bring him back to reality. "I don't care. I'm exactly where I want to be. I want to stay here forever. I want to be with the goddess. My wolf wants to stay with the moon goddess. Nothing else matters." Harper sounded like a robot, saying things that I thought he could never speak. The Harper I knew would die for his best friend. He seemed so far away that I just wanted him to bring back to his usual self.

Harper looked at her family—who had gone from "War Mode" to "Business Mode" in three seconds flat—and shook her head. Money really was the universal language.
