“I’m just missing a dog urinating on me and a parrot spitting on me. Daniel starts laughing and his laugh is so uproarious that it makes some present turn to look at them. Harper is uncomfortable with the sudden attention. Damn! Why can't she just behave like a normal woman? No! She has to go through life, talking up too much and complaining about everything. “I hadn't heard about the parrot,” he barely manages to say, since the fit of laughter is imminent. “It is quite ingenious.”
