The gray-coated man quietly whispered, "It remembers you." Adrian stopped. "I've never seen this book." The stranger looked into his eyes. "No." "But it has seen you." A low hum filled the island. The first page slowly turned by itself. The second page... was completely blank. Not a single word. Not a single mark. Only a tiny sentence appeared at the bottom. Place your hand here. The First Reader immediately raised his voice. "Don't." "If the book accepts you..." "...there will be no turning back."

I speed up stairs to the room, I opened the the last drawer of the the nightstand, grabbing the Phoenix stone, I looked at the shiny red stone, tempting me to open it. I grab the spell book Tyler gave to me, opening it, there was only one page and one word, it was written in Latin which says 'clear'. "Claro" I whispered but then the stone shines, I gasped. The door opens, Ocean walks in, I hid the stone into my hand. "Hey" he said, sitting next to me. "What are you doing?" He asked. Should I tell him? No! He'll try to stop me one way or the other, I can't let him know. He looks at the book in my hold.

Mr Collins instructs after he's finished his angry typing. “Reading what?” I ask. “That,” he points to a book that's on the couch where Theo had been sitting moments before. “What the…” I start to ask, then shake my head, “Right away, Professor Dumbledor,” I snark, picking up the book as he leaves the office. The book looks like a modern school textbook, but the title, ‘The Spark’ has me turning to the first page eagerly to finally get some freaking answers!

“I’m ready.” Kael muttered a short incantation, and the runes flickered before dimming enough for the door to be pushed open. They slipped inside, stepping into a circular chamber lined with floating books, runic symbols, and magical instruments. At the center, a figure stood—her treacherous classmate from the previous trial. The small spellbook in their hands glowed, and shadows coiled around them like serpents, reacting to every motion. “You’re late,” the student said, voice calm, almost taunting. “I was beginning to wonder if the Chosen One had lost her courage.”

“Now, now, now, let’s play the game.” Dropping the book as it places open onto the floor. The brilliant and distinct ruby red color picture of somewhat like a crystal is shown. A crystal you might think at first glance and might tell that it is one precious stone anyone would want to have for themselves, but in reality, and within the context and words of the book, it tells otherwise. I muttered, opening the first page. I needed to start working on myself so that I could erase all thoughts of Xavier’s sister from his memory. On the first page of the book was a table of content, showing all that was to be found in the book. I scrolled down from the introduction and jumped to “Casting your first spell.” I traced my finger on the dotted lines and found the page number. I opened the book and when I got to this page, I stopped. The name of the contact was boldly written in capital letters and it took the whole page. Opening to the next page, I found it’s content.
