Smiling as I remembered how my legs had given way under the caresses of his devious tongue I carelessly opened a small brown parcel. It was a book on flower identification. There was no note yet someone had circled a chapter on Petal Shape and Formation. Specifically the word Petal. My heart leapt as I raced to the section, hoping I had not finally lost my mind to lustful delirium in this space. The book almost fell to the floor in my haste to open it to the correct chapter. There, in that powerful handwriting, full of decisive cursive strokes as per his note to me in London there were a few words scribbled over the opening page of the Petal chapter.

Chapter 17 Scarlett The next day was as usual and surprisingly no one visited me. I found a few books that were placed on the table. It was the Harry Potter series. Taking the book, I went to bed and hopped up. Leaning back, I started reading. The book captivated me wholly and I didnt know how many hours passed until a soft knock came on the door.

My chest felt tight, like something was pressing down on it, refusing to let me breathe properly. I wasn’t ready to go inside. But I had nowhere else to go. So I stepped out of the car. The walk to the door felt longer than usual. Heels clicking against the ground, each step echoing louder than it should. My fingers trembled slightly as I reached for the handle. And the moment I pushed the door open… I froze. Harry was standing there. Right in front of me. Arms folded across his chest. Waiting. My heart dropped instantly. Something was wrong.

It’s dangerous yet I find myself wanting those captivating eyes to never look away. It frightens me to my core and I panic. “My real name is Harry and I come from a hidden world known as Hogwarts. My grandmother is Gandalf.” I sound stupid, I’m so stupid. The fumbling words leave my mouth before I can control them. I expect confusion from him, or maybe he’d look at me like I am some weirdo, but…he laughs. He laughs out freely. The laughter stems deep from within him, rich with real cheerfulness. As always, I’m entranced by it. The wind picks up the sound fast, playing it in the air.

I already knew what he went to do but seeing it was never a sight to see. "We will be going to a new realm." I stated as I skimmed through the book pausing at a page that had huge bold letters at the top. "Only the one with the power within can open up the realm of ultimate power." I whispered as I looked at the simple instructions to open up the portal. I put my hand over the page and used all my might to force the portal out. A burning smell had me looking closer at my hand. Blood slowly dripped onto the page.

“Please open your books to chapter 1.” The students did as they where told. The first page in the chapter showed a 3d hologram of a hydrogen atom under a quantum microscope. It slowly rotated over the opened book. Detailed information about the element and its uses were written on the page. “Wow, how did they do this without magic?!” asked Dorin who rotated the book upon his desk.

"Insolent. Who are you to enter someone's room without permission? Get out of here and never set foot in this house again." Harriet was very surprised when she opened her eyes. Slowly her vision, which had been pitch black, showed a dim picture of her room. But she was even more surprised when she saw a black silhouette reaching toward the wooden box that contained the Philosopher's Stone.
