H U N T E R J O N E S I was reading the second Harry Potter book while leaning against the wall in the alley with Ty on my side. I knew Mey had asked me to read the Goblet of Fire to figure out the three unforgivable curses, but after picking the book randomly, I felt that I owed it to the author to read it from the first book. So I had picked up Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone from the library yesterday, finished the book in seven hours, and had it returned this morning. When I had returned the first one, I immediately borrowed the second one: Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets which was the book I was reading right now.

Before I could knock, the door automatically opened and I stepped in, not even started by the strange door. There was a large pot on fire in front of her that she stirred with a large stick and that was the only thing that lit the room well enough. The other part of the room was so dark and wooden with glowing books and potions on the shelves as well as so many large pots and dirty broomsticks.

She step into a book and picked it up. “Is this Merfoy’s magic book?” she thought as she opened it, it suddenly produced a light that struck her eyes and lit the corner where she is standing. The pages moved on their own as it suddenly stops, she read what was written on the page.

Quickly I ran back to my bedroom hoping that the spell was still working. Footsteps came back into the hall and I heard my grandmother’s door being opened and then shut and then the footsteps continued to my room and stopped. The door pushed open and Christopher stood in my doorway looking into my room. I didn’t move a muscle as he scanned my room hoping he wasn’t onto us but he continued on to my mother’s old bedroom. I tiptoed to the door and looked into the hall and saw Christopher struggling to open my mother’s bedroom door. The door hadn’t been open since the day I came here to live with my grandmother. Christopher finally got the door open and he stood still for a moment before he ente

"Take your time, and don't worry about me." I nodded, feeling a sense of contentment spreading through me. I made my way towards the dusty shelves, running my fingers over the spines of the books. It wasn't long before I found myself lost from Daniel's vision in the farther end of the library. My eyes lingered on the dusty shelves as I found the thin blue book on the shelf. My heart raced within my chest as I looked around me before pulling the book out. And, as soon as I did the wall disappeared opening the secret chamber.
