She’s shaking, and her spine drops back to the mattress as the ichor is finally contained in the crystal, which disappears into a pocket of the blue coat.

At the center stood a circular pool filled with silver water. Above the pool floated a crystal. It pulsed like a heartbeat. I stopped breathing. "What is that?" Gabriel whispered: "The Heart of the Moon." We entered the chamber. The moment I stepped across the threshold, the silver water began to move.
