The Dark soul

The Dark soul

"I want you to help me give it to them." Asher's heart gave an involuntary flip. "Present?" Sarah's red lips lifted into an evil grin. Pulling her clutch from its place on the table beside her she began to rummage through it until she found what she needed. She held a tiny packet filled with white powder out flashing it to a confused looking Asher. "Do you know what this is Asher?" She asked now. Asher slowly shook his head feigning ignorance. He had a vague idea, but he didn't want to say as he tried to give Sarah the benefit of the doubt. After all this was real life not some ridiculous TV drama. People didn't actually plot to drug people to get their way, right?

"Didn't you say you never want to see, talk or listen to anything that has to do with he-whose-name-must-not-be-spoken?" "Thank you for the Harry Potter reference, and yes I did say that." I could see her rolling her eyes, exactly the same shade as mine. "And no, I'm not feeling nostalgic. I just want to rip them to shreds and burn them crispy so I that I can forget that tomorrow is the 5th anniversary of the biggest mistake of my life! God, you have the worst taste in friends."

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

Ascend or Be Consumed

Ascend or Be Consumed

I stared at the scroll for a moment before unrolling it, the crisp parchment crackling beneath my fingers. There was the coiled serpent artwork at the right, and the heading was written in dark ink with striking precision: We don’t teach simple spells here. We teach control. Power. How to survive. Below it was a list, neatly divided into Basic Classes and Main Disciplines and the moment I read through them, the soup in my stomach churned. Basic Classes:

, she says. He nods his head before popping out once again. I will not get used to that soon. Paying attention to the headmistress; “Starting at the right end of the table, we have Mr. Willis Samuell-Phoenix teaching grimoires. Next, we have Miss Charlie Saneye teaching history, then Mrs. Aksenchuk Anna Vladimirovna teaching dark magic. Next is Mr. Taren Samuell-Phoenix, our healer.” “Mr. Sapping, pleasure to see you.”, she says asks Mr. Sapping walks in.

Anything For The Alpha

Anything For The Alpha

Felix seemed to bask in being a hero and brought Roxie some beautiful flowers, a sheepish little grin planted on his face at mine and Cherry’s praise of him. By the end of the second week the five of us attended all our classes together, went out for meals and had formed a happy little group. Roxie’s skin had healed immaculately as we hurtled towards another exam. Dark Arts had been the focus for the week, an area not everyone has natural talent in, but it was fascinating. To see what you could be capable of with your wolf to summon up energies, healing, help crops and even see the future. The possibilities were limitless. Roxie’s eyes had shone as Professor Landin explained dozens of differ

What a rollercoaster! I really enjoyed this book! What I like the most about Alle’s books are the unique story outlines and how she develops every single character in her book. I was hooked from the first chapter! Five stars all the way
Briar
Another amazing story! I was skeptical at first having read the synopsis a few times if it would be something I would enjoy. But Alle blew it out of the water the twist and turns, the gut wrenching heartache for the characters. I cried and I smiled so much while reading this book.

Blood: Tears of Darkness

Blood: Tears of Darkness

Quan snapped out of her reverie when the bell struck twice. Mrs. Hilda left the room and a few moments later, another teacher entered the second grade. Mr. Kei is a friendly and humorous face, but even so, he remains firm. Quan liked this one teacher for his lesson: Dark History. Dark History is not always as dark as its name, but other students still like it because it is quite interesting. Sometimes the lessons learned are not always in public books outside of school.

answered Naya, who was only answered by her friends nodding. "Oh, isn't that Mr Arka?!" Dahya exclaimed seeing the man who looked like her former teacher with a woman. The Accused Mate

The Accused Mate

Someone powerful. "Show me who," I ordered, throwing a handful of salt into the bowl. The black blood formed a face—a face I knew all too well. My old teacher, Lilith Blackwood. The one who taught me the dark arts before exposing me to the Shadow Council. "Well, well," I whispered, "the game gets more interesting." With shaking hands, I began preparing for a tracking spell. I needed to reach Amara before Lilith did. I needed to finish what I started five years ago.

They instantly shut up. The teacher turned to face the class. “For the sake of our latecomer, I will introduce myself again,” he said. “My name is Gilbert Wallace. You may call me Wallace.”He paused, letting his presence settle.“I will be teaching you Forbidden Arts and Restricted Knowledge.” A wave of murmurs spread through the room. Philipa’s brows furrowed. Forbidden arts? Aren’t werewolves forbidden from learning this? She was still thinking when Rowan nudged her arm lightly.
