I passed one of them on my way to find you,” he added. I didn’t answer. I stared out the window, gripping the edge of the seat. My dislike for the triplets intensified with every thought of their cruelty. When we arrived at the castle, I froze for a split second. One of them stood at the entrance. He didn’t move, just leaned casually against the doorframe, watching us.

Cassandra nodded, patting her pocket, "I told you I'll get it." I smiled gratefully at her and drew a perfect circle on the floor with two upside down triangle and a square. I collected the yew tree leaf and placed it on the center of the circle, in the middle of the square. A strong current of wind started blowing, but the leaf didn't shake. It's why it's called the tree of death. I took out the relics and scattered some of them in the circle, the stronger her attachment to her, the faster she'd be able to come.

It was the very thing I had come back for. The chest was even more intricate up close, covered in dark wood carvings that felt both beautiful and ominous. I reached out, fingers grazing the cool surface as my eyes caught a symbol in the center of the lid. It was a triangle with three circles inside. I blinked, recognizing it instantly. I had seen that symbol before. But where?

The girl nodded without saying a word and then frowned intensely as she looked at the remaining six copper coins from earlier. At this time, the girl had just taken the coins in a diagonal line from the upper left to the lower right of the previous nine copper coins. The remaining six copper coins presented two triangles at the lower left and upper right. She grabbed the three copper coins on the lower left and hurriedly threw them on the table as she said with an even more horrified expression, “The hexagram is extremely bloody.
