She watched him intently reading her schedule. “Go back to your classes. I'll see you later mate," he said and gave her the schedule back. He disappeared into the thin air leaving Cassandra all by himself. “That fvcker,” she cursed under her breath and stomped her feet. She breathed deeply and looked at the ceiling, realizing something. Her mate is no other than Sebastian Alistair Blood and worst of all he is the vampire prince. Cassandra doesn’t know if it’s possible to be mates with a vampire. Cassandra was lost in her thoughts. She heaved a sigh and left the room. She went back to her classes as the break was finally over.

“And what is that supposed to do? Make me not tell anyone about this?” I sighed dramatically. “Oh Victor, I think we’ve also already established that part.” He squinted at me. I leaned forward. “You know my secret and I know a lot of things about you. Things we did together. In simple terms…” My voice dropped. “If I go down, you go with me.” He jumped up. “Yeah but no matter what, nothing is worse than being a blood sucking demon living amongst werewolves. The vampire let out an unholy screech before moving in blurs, but Hayley easily kept up with his attacks. Blocking all his blows and dodging out of his way. "I thought you would make me your bride. What changed?" Hayley asked, walking circles around the vampire. "You are his mate. I don't want you anymore."

His eyes switched and it did again in my dream to make me recall… Or was I seeing things because I was close to death? “Angel, do human eyes switch colors?” I asked with narrowed eyes. “None that I have heard of,” she replied, “But I do know that vampires do have that,” “Vampires… the other night creatures…” “Yes.” “That can't be it. She gasped, “what do you mean mate? What is that?” “I am a vampire sweetheart, and you are a vampire and witch hybrid. A mate is a soulmate. That means that we are meant to be together” She gasped even louder this time and backed away from me. “No! You’re lying, I don’t drink blood or boil stuff in cauldrons!”
