Her hand touched my chest, resting there. I deepened the kiss before I could stop myself. She responded in kind, her fingers curling into my shirt. The mug I was holding hit the floor, and I didn’t even hear it land. My hand slid to her waist and I felt her tremble. I pulled her closer. Her body pressed to mine, and for a second, the world narrowed to just that moment.
