Rhyker

Rhyker

I rolled my eyes and tugged my feet that were chained against the bedpost, I gathered my hands together and tried to pull it out using my magic. I groaned and tugged it harder but it won't work unless it's in the forest or somewhere that is in nature, my magic only works when we are surrounded around trees. That means that we are maybe in an abandoned warehouse or something close to the city. Rosla doesn't have any abandoned streets thanks to Rhyker's knowledge who made sure that those streets are used in something useful like a garden for plants and nature. The country is ranked up to first in saving nature and ecological systems with magic and high technical standards.

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

She nodded, her focus unwavering as she conjured a shimmering barrier that flickered with energy, deflecting the dark tendrils that threatened to envelop us. Eden fought valiantly beside me, his youthful spirit lighting up the darkness. I marveled at how much he had grown, how he had transformed from a boy into a warrior before my very eyes. His spells danced around him like a constellation of stars, each burst of magic a testament to the bond we shared. "Mom, behind you!" he cried, directing his magic to shield me as a shadow lunged forward.

These Maddening Desires

These Maddening Desires

While in a low whisper, the sorcerer, Natty whispered wickedly, “Do you know of a magic that could bind one’s soul? Forever you will be my slave if I use this magic on you.” Rose pulled away from him at once, readily reached out her hand. She could stop him once and she couldn’t see why she couldn’t stop him now. But somehow her magic didn’t work as Natty reached out his hand over her, “When a trick played twice it won’t work to me.” Rose couldn’t move back anymore as her body hit the cold wall behind her. As the hand approached she closed her eyes. No!

Seven Magics Academy

Seven Magics Academy

I sensed that even though she tried so hard to remain tough - to be the queen she was born to be. And though I knew her fate, part of me hoped that somehow and someday I could see her once again. Because, really, was death the end? "Agreed, son." Pops said, and I concentrated on him and Dorian. "At least she isn't as red and glowy anymore. Do you think she'll wake up soon?" Dorian asked and my heart melted. He truly cared for me. "I don't know," Pops responded. "Magic is strange. It's exciting, easy to manipulate if you possess the genes, but it can also be cruel and cunning."

Alpha Killian's Human Mate

Alpha Killian's Human Mate

That was the kind of activity I wanted to engage in, but it seemed that having twins inside my stomach was making me suffer from more pain than the other expectant mothers. Killian left with Ari and I was in the room all by myself. Lazy to get up from my bed, I tried to use a spell to lock the door from there, but it utterly failed. I tried to use another spell to draw a book from the shelf to me, but that failed as well. “Fuck!” I gritted my teeth hard. Just then, I remembered something that the druid who visited the other day had told me. “Druid magic is one with nature. And instead of taking something from you, nourishes you…” These were her exact words.

I cannot risk Umbra or Jenny draining my magic from me or killing me to get it. I wonder if when my mother died, did she try to take her magic, only to find it was stored somewhere. I close my eyes and imagine my mother's magic. Please, mother, I need your magic to survive this. The amulet breaks free from my body, and my mother's magic spills into me. As the magic begins to take over, my chains break, and I am free.

Allure

Allure

Necromancy was unnatural so nature was sure to put up a fight. Strange! No lack of air or strange weather. Maybe nature wanted this. "...Hear my beckoning and step into the light." This time nature fought back. The greens surrounding me turned black. Nature was snuffing life out of its creation. Being a creature of the divine mother herself, I dropped to the floor literally feeling the life in need gradually draining. It became a huge task to breathe and it worsened. Nature wasn't going to let the abominable repeat itself. Just when I thought it was over for me, Nature gave up the fight.

Dragon Prince's Heart

Dragon Prince's Heart

said Astrid, sobbing with pain in her chest. “Use my strength to protect you, my child. Use the power of The Heart of Magic to multiply my strength in your body. Who knows miracles happen? I can't give you any guarantees. But, I promise to help you with the abilities I have. You are Draco's, true love. You are the true mate for Draco,” said Albus with bitterness. “Yes, I will try. Are you willing to guide me, Albus?” asked Astrid. "With pleasure." ***

Geez, Sis. I cried. Why did Albus so cruel to separate Astrid and Draco? At first, I burst out laughing because I read that a dragon can drink beer, but after a while, my tears flowed without me realizing it. Well, It turns out that Astrid had fallen in love with the black dragon. Poor Astrid. Why?

Jade: The Hybrid Mage

Jade: The Hybrid Mage

Then all at once. It wasn’t just power. It was . . . identity. ‘By the gods,’ Naila whispered in awe. ‘Your aura is dense enough to choke a village. This level of magical potency—Jade, you weren’t supposed to have this.’ “It’s too much,” I gasped. “I can’t hold it—” ‘Then don’t hold it. Let it hold you.’ It spread through me like silk wrapping around a blade. Smooth but powerful. Wild but loyal.

Worthless to Priceless: The Alpha's Rejected Mate

“Unfortunately, my powers don’t work that way. I didn’t get the magnificent powers that the others did. I am what you would call a tracker. I can sense magic and I can find it from miles away. It is almost like a scent to me. It is in the wind. I can feel it thrumming through my blood. I can tell things about it.” He seemed to have piqued Clara’s interest because she took a step closer. “What can you tell me about my magic?” “It has something to do with nature. It smells like the earth to me. It reminds me of a warm day in the sun. You’re very in tune with your environment- I can say that much.” Clara said nothing and for a second, I thought she would have called him a fraud, but she held ou

This was such an amazingly interesting story. Right up until the end. Did you get tired of writing it? Were you unsure of where else the story was headed? I feel like things were going great and then <BAM!> brick wall. Epilogue… the end. So many loose ends left unanswered. Loved it regardless.
