She placed the chocolate on the table before shaking him vigorously as she didn't know how else to wake him up. Harry wrinkled the skin on his forehead as he had felt a sharp pain on his head. He slowly opens his eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar environment. “Here take this, it'll keep you warm." Gemila said handing him the chocolate but he didn't accept it. He simply kept staring at her like he isn't sure what he is looking at now. “What? you don't want chocolate? I can make you tea if you don't like..." “Where am I?" he asked, cutting her off.

I needed to learn the spells within the book, and quickly. I tiptoed to my private chamber, ensuring no one saw me. Once inside, I placed the box on my writing desk and whispered the incantation to open it. The lid creaked open, revealing the ancient book resting inside. Its golden cover shimmered in the light, a siren call to the knowledge contained within. Just as I began to sift through the pages, a soft knock on my door interrupted my thoughts. I quickly closed the box and tucked it away, my heart racing. “Come in!”

But as I turned the pages, I was met with emptiness—a void waiting to be filled with knowledge and secrets long forgotten. “Huh?” Curiosity piqued, I traced my fingertip along the edge of the page, only to be met with a sharp prick as the book drew blood. “O-ouch!” Startled, I watched as crimson droplets stained the pristine surface, merging with the blank pages like ink on parchment. And as if by magic, words began to appear before my eyes, weaving a tale of destiny and prophecy that sent shivers down my spine.

As I stepped out, my eyes caught sight of a book. 'Sorcery: The introduction' was what was printed in beautiful cursive on the spine of the book. I pulled it out of its place and two other books fell over where its position had been. Curiosity caused me to open the first page and I find the name of the coven there. "Welcome to the Ravens Den Coven", it said. My eyes skim through the things written on the page and I flip over to the next page. What I find there causes my heart to stop. It causes my whole world to almost fall apart.

There were cobwebs everywhere, and I was not shocked because no one was in a hurry to learn that. Setting my satchel down on a nearby table, I pulled out the spell book and flipped to the chapter on protection. The symbols and instructions stared back at me looking very foreign. I ran my fingers over the pages, tracing the intricate designs as I whispered the first few words of the spell. I felt the air charge around me and for the first time in days, I felt a flicker of hope.

Erix pulled me closer and picked me up in his arms and entered the portal.

I don't need to read through twenty pages of some author—whose more than likely dead by now—droning on about the importance of magic balance and blah blah. Flipping to somewhere in the middle,I immediately saw a diagram of a pentagram. "Ohhh…" I mumble to myself and trace my finger over it.
