How I yearned for the good old days when I hopped about the bookshop, checking for story books and picking the ones with the most colorful and captivating covers and titles. It was so much fun and It was definitely in my plans for my future kids when I had my own family. I read books to escape reality, to keep myself busy, to keep my mind off overthinking, and to improve my vocabulary and speech. I flipped my fingers over the books, deliberating on which would be my read for the weekend. I had all seven books in the Harry Potter series and I had read only three. With the aid of my thumb and my index fingers, I picked out the book, ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.’

She was slowly becoming agitated as Harry kept on staring at her and waiting for a reply. "That was a long time ago, Harry, how would you expect me to remember?" Harry raised an eyebrow, staring at her suspiciously. If there was one thing he was certain about, his little girl would never ever forget her favorite book. She talked about it a lot and it seems she read the book more than fifty times. Harry remembewred the fact that she used to explain the book to him, hook line and synched. "Well, it's Throne of glass..." He replied, still looking her up suspiciously.

The real Bella. I immediately recognized that familiar looking book. I saw it among Bella's book collection when I first came into this world. It stood out due to its large size. But I had never opened it before. The title of that book was 'The Darkest Art.' I mean, even the title was suspicious. So what do you expect me to do? Call me silly, but I learned from 'Harry Potter' not to open any suspicious looking book. Who knows what's inside? Considering Bella's character, it could be housing the soul of a random dark lord for all I know. So, of course I didn't want to take the risk.

Hello dear readers, I want to explain the power ranking in this book. They are different potential rankings ranging from Yellow orange, red, blue, cyan blue, and black. The lowest to the highest. The yellow is the lowest form of ranking, while the black colour is the highest ranking that is rumored to be a myth. Sorry for the confusion from not explaining it earlier. "She was just too obsessed with Harry Potter. Wouldn't shut up about it." I gaped at him. "I love Harry Potter." Wes stared at me with wide eyes, amusement flickering through them. "As one does but there's eight movies. For God's sake, imagine sitting through a full summary of each movie." I narrowed my eyes. "I would totally give you eight-movies worth of summaries. Personally, the fifth and sixth movies are my favourite but the Goblet of Fire has a special place in my heart. Robert Pattinson and all."

Trisha heard Mrs Perry complain as she glided through shelves teemed with ages-old books before she could be pulled into hours-long conversation with the old lady. She picked up a book from a dilapidated shelf, blew off the dust that had found solace on it's leather covering over the years, and squinted— because of the poor illumination, to see the books name. ‘Wizards Can Do More’ by one of the greatest wizards ever, LP Travis. It was a book she wanted but not one she needed. Hence, she put it back in its spot among other dusty books and walked to another shelf.

I traced my fingers across the spine of the book, reading their titles as i do. Most of the books are copies of Harry Potter and Lord of the rings. He also has four books of Game Of Thrones. "Didn't take you for a bookworm." I commented as i pulled out the first book in the Game of Thrones series. Karl placed his right hand on my hip as he looked at the book in my hands.

“All kinds of books. I’ve ready fantasy, romance and everything in between. I’ve read Harry Potter probably more times than I can count.” “Harry Potter?” I chuckle. “Don’t diss on Harry Potter or I’ll turn this horse around.” I chuckle at her threat. “Do you read?” “I do, probably not as much as you but I do. I tend to stick to fantasy stories like The Hobbit or the Game of Thrones series.”
