Hank offered as he thwarted a vampire’s attempt to pull off his head by biting him in the hand. When the double doors of the castle flew open and a new surge of angry castle supernatural residents poured into the great room with the intent to kill, all conversation stopped. Hank pulled a whistle from around his neck and blew it long and hard. It not only summoned a new surge of zombies to flood the great hall, but it caused the vampires to stop for a brief, stunned moment.

Maybe I really was making a huge mistake pushing him away. Interrupting my thoughts, Lucy replied, “Oh, it’s definitely true! Blake tortures people too, and so did his dad—well, your dad too, I guess. I’ve heard stories. I won’t repeat them because they’re gruesome.” “Tell me, please,” I said, eager to know, begging Lucy with my eyes. “Okay, I won’t go into detail, but I’ve heard they chop people’s arms and legs off and pull out their eyes. Stuff like that. And werewolves don’t die. They just heal so they can keep going for hours.”

Its eyes hung on its cheeks as it lunged straight at me. "Clarissa!" Hans yelled, immediately raising his gun and aiming at the zombie in front of me. The next second, he was immediately drawn to Winnie's scream. "Hans! I'm scared!" He hesitated for a second before immediately turning his gun toward the zombies near Winnie. My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach.

Although Kiran was worried, he still stepped inside the house. There were bones everywhere and the smell of rotting flesh. It was truly disgusting. In a pile of bones, some kind of white bug was crawling on it. “This is the parasite of the zombie spell,” Maxwell said beside him. Kiran was not afraid. He lowered his head and pricked it with a needle. The little bug was pierced. Its body was wriggling as if it were trying to break free. Maxwell’s face turned pale, and his eyes were filled with fear.

A few seconds later, a trudging figure came into view. "It's a zombie! It's another zombie!" Hugh turned ghostly pale. "That's Tate!" Darren immediately recognized the zombie that just appeared. "Peter was right after all. They've all turned into zombies." After three more seconds, another zombie appeared behind Tate. More and more kept showing up until there were a total of nine of them.
