When I entered the hallway the next day with Bran, I knew something was up. Many students were gathered around in the middle of the hallway. When I also made it to the circle, I noticed a leggy brunette in the centre. I nudged Brandon with my elbow. The brunette's eyes fell on mine and she smirked as Chelsea snorted. "You must be Ramara." "And you are?" I felt Brandon's arm around my shoulder. "I'm your cuz silly. Scarlett Hayden." She held out her hand and I reluctantly shook it.

He exclaimed. Puzzled as to how this man knew him, Allen chuckled uncomfortably. He had often heard his grandfather, Harold Pierce, referred to by his friends as ‘Harry’. Luckily, my words didn’t sound too slurred. He smiled and turned to the bartender… who amazingly enough came right over. Everyone who had been waiting for a drink looked over, jealous. The girls kept looking at the guy holding my hand. There was something about him that made him impossible not to look at. If I hadn’t grown up around werewolves I would probably be staring at him too. Werewolves have this amazing ability to attract all the attention around them when they wanted it, and the older, more experienced ones could blend in like they were invisible if they needed to too.

Sarah asked, tilting her head in confusion as their pace slowed down. "Just a little bit." Charlie pored over his shoulder to smile at his girlfriend. "You tired? Want me to carry you, hmm?" Sarah bit her lower lip seductively and even they are surrounded by darkness, her repulse to show her charms reigned. She tucked a hair behind her left ear. "I can manage well. Though, these little burrs are pissing me off," she informed and looked down on the burrs sticking to the hem of her dress like pieces of magnets. Some brushed the upper part of her legs.

She hated herself for it. She jerked away, standing abruptly. “I’m tired. I should sleep,” she said quickly, avoiding his gaze. Ryan studied her for a moment longer before rising to his feet. “As you wish,” he said curtly. He turned and left without another word, the door clicking softly behind him.
